I hope more kpop fans will start actually listening to/supporting Cignature with their weirder and quirkier sounds and concepts. I hear constant lipservice from ifans about "wanting more weird concepts" or "bring back groups like Orange Caramel!" and like... there are groups doing that RIGHT NOW making weird fun music with a ton of spunk and heart, you have to actually support them, don't just mourn them when they disband.
Anyways this song is a gem, definitely a top 10 for the year, and Cignature killed this year with my favorite debut AND one of the strangest most anachronistic songs Assa which is just... so odd i have to give it props. I really hope more people will catch onto them soon!!
The prechorus and the ‘hmmm’ part have been stuck in my head for the last week.

Nature and Cignature have sat at the same table for me since Nun Nu Nan Na released. Cignature and Weeekly are absolutely the best girl group debuts in 2020 and I think those three have the potential to be the the A-to-B-level girl groups in the 4th generation. I loooove Arisong so much, it sounds like a poor girl group song but with ninety more layers which is 100% my style. "Um~" will be stuck in my head for months.

Umu described Cignature perfectly! The first time I listened to Arisong, the cute quickly energetic concept pops out so much and it’s just so...them!
I love exactly everything you said too, Umu! Honestly Cignature, with only a few releases, already have a specific sound/mood that it's all theirs and I love it so much! I advise watching a few of their Arisong's music show appearances because they dance energetically and sing live and I ASSURE you Yeah(the main vocalist)'s high notes are so satisfying!! ;^;
I hope they stick with the same producer as they have provided consistent jams for Cignature
this song is an EXPERIENCE......and i agreeee arisong sounds so fresh compared to the other songs released this year
From NNNN era I've been in love with the producers for this group. Every song just feels so fresh, as you said. Even their debut which imo might have been the most conventional of the three, still had moments that I didn't expect but it was executed so damn well to the point I can't imagine what else could have been there.
Nu Nu na na is definitely my favourite debut of this year. Even STAYC debut can't beat it imo

Ngl when It first came out, on the first listen I thought "Oh my god she is going to love this." Especially when I heard them harmonize at the end of the chorus.

Cook and perfectly sums up the way it has felt to be living through the covid pandemic. It is considered one of the best albums of the year by many music critics (myself and Kevin included) and is definitely worth listening to!

She has collaborated on Charli XCX’s ‘vroom vroom’ EP which I highly recommend to listen! SOHPIE has also worked on the production of 24 hours by ITZY on the ‘ITZ ME’ album

imo cignature is definitely roty, their music really feels electric to me and theyre all amazing performers!!! ive been following them since 2017 when some of the members were still in good day so to see them get a lot of love & attention this year makes me really happy ;_;
YES! So glad that this song remembered Kevin of PC Music. I love this new branch of groups like cignature because they carry almost in a unforseen or subdue way the PC Music concept, which is breaking the definition of what is pop by just going full crazy like this while at the same time creating something that is undoubtedly fun, or catchy, or both.

Looking back on this song, it was ahead of it's time. I mean, the constant switch ups we're not really a thing back then, but now we have groups who made that their whole thing. Even I didn't like this song back when it came out, but now I love it. Cignature in general has always been ahead of their time, I mean, even with Boyfriend, they released that song and a year later, more relaxed and chill songs started doing well. They're good at predicting the market I guess, but they need to be good at not predicting it so far ahead lol

They are new trent booming in korea and you could say this is very experimental and new take on the old form.

I'd be interested to hear your thoughts since the copncept feels different than "Nun Nu Nan Na", but still has the musical "weirdness" and craziness.
