    Great comparative review on 2 killer Pro Saws! I was a Husqvarna XP operator for many years until my mechanic convinced me to try the Echo X Series. I have been running my CS 7310 P and CS 620 P Echo on the Block for a while now, and they both perform excellent under heavy work conditions.

    Great video! The 500i is appealing, but i like the simplicity and reliability of Echo. To your point, they really do run better with some hours on ‘em. After 10 or 15 tank of fuel, they really wake up and rip.

    Love the 7310 I had always wanted a 500i but when the echo came out I jumped on it. After having it ported it runs faster in cross cut and ripping then my buddies 500i really glad I went with the echo I’ve done my best to keep away from auto tune they are cool but I like the simplicity of the echo 20 years from now can still be serviced with basic stuff if it ever even needed repair.

    I have several echos ; cs340t, 3450, 4910, 590, and the 800p. The newer models have such a nice balance and antivibe it's incredible! I had my 800p ported by Charles Brisco and it has about 9hp now. It's will eat up a 500i stock but the antivibe isn't great on that older design. I will get myself a 7310 as a mid/ large saw simply because it's simple. Great video man, it's nice to see honest reviews. I agree they are about the best on the market.

      I have a Echo weed eater i bought back in the 1980`s, we still use it to this day for all of our trim work. Because the Echo`s are so dependable, i bought a CS-7310 2 weeks ago, and just yesterday, went back and bought the CS-4910 for trim work and limb work. I also have Stihl chainsaws as well, but the first saws i pick up and run, ECHO. Because they are perfectly balanced, and they never fail to start.

    I’m really really surprised at the weight of those two saws. Would have thought the echo would be a lot heavier. Think no one can go wrong with either saw, but I was extremely surprised about the cut times. For a saw that’s not broken in with the carb tuned on an epa tun that thing really did well. A muffler mod and a tune after break in and the echo will hang with the best of the 70cc class

    My wife bought me a membership to a club that would send me new products to test, then I'd answer a booklet of questions, and the tool's were mine to keep. This was when Echo first started in the American market. The only complaint was the chain brake hit my knuckles, especially when wearing thick gloves. When the saw was launched to the market, it was farther away from the knuckles. I was a Husqvarna only guy. Then I became disabled in a workplace injury back in 2003, so I needed a lightweight, easy start, machine. I couldn't even start my big saw. Well that little test model chainsaw is the best small saw I've ever seen, owned, or heard about! So then a few year's ago I bought another small saw, cs310, another incredible machine so far. I'll probably never own another brand saw! I'm that sold on them, with the experience I've had with them! Both my little weedwackers are on their last legs. So I might try a Echo trimmer!..from Wyoming USA 🇺🇸 👋🤠

    I work for a local Echo dealer in town here...and being a mechanic...I'm impressed with this Echo 7310...I LOVE ECHOS and would have to say that I'm partial to them being exposed to them for so long. I grew up with my dad working as a salesman for the local John Deere dealer and we carried Echo for years..also the John Deere saws were made by Echo..so if Deere put their name to something...back then...that says ALOT..but where John Deere messed up is when they teamed up with Homelite...when Homelite got a little crappy with their saws...so I'm hoping that eventually someone will straight gas one of the 7310..and I can wind up with it 😉..cause that's the only way I can foresee one of the 7310s giving up..so the 7310 is gonna be an eye opener 😉👍

    I used to run huskys for a long time, cut about 7-10 cords of firewood a year. I brought a echo 590 as a back up saw to keep in my truck because they were on sale 100$ off factory rebate. I have since gotten rid of my huskys and now I run the 590 and a 7310. I just think they are better built saws and very simple. Like this guy says also, easy saws to hot rod and tweak your self.

    Nice video. Very well done, Sir! I’ve been really happy with my Echo products. Saw wise I have a CS-3000, CS-310, CS-620PW, and CS-800P. I had a DCS-2500T, but I just sold it to a buddy of mine that climbs so he could have an identical backup rig to his DCS-2500T. I’m taking the funds from that sale and am going to purchase a CS-355T in the near future. I’d really like a CS-7310 too (likely with the wrap handle). I like the 800P a lot. It’s not the fastest 80cc saw out there, but it pulls all day long through anything. Darn shame they’re no longer available stateside.

    I might just have a bad echo, but when bar length is in the 25 to 36 range my stihl is noticeably faster than the echo. Neither sees the really big bars that often because generally go to bigger saws. Sometimes my 881 are on another truck so I do occasionally use these with the longer bars. The stihls 500is (I have 6) are all faster with the longer bars (if the length of the bar is in wood)

    Needed a 60 cc echo but the 7310 had me after after buying the 4510 . The 4510 is already showing up a 60cc saw so that answers that question and factory just uses Echo two stroke oil . I actually use some red armor Echo in one or two gallons and just a little mystery oil with one gallon of mix . But since then all power blend gold.Thats just with the 4510 the 7310 has one echo gas tank I think 21 ozs. Of fuel and some of the fuel is Stihl in it it's not even got a tank through it . But the echo can cs 7310 is a beeas tttt.Im used to Stihl ms 362 which is hard to beat in fuel efficiency and cutting performance but the cs 7310 would eat threw a Buick!❤ Nice video stay safe echo wins!

    Your video was very well done. Was a great review on both brand chainsaws. I have an Echo CS-310 chainsaw that I’m very happy with. This chainsaw really surprised me on how much I can cut. But I’m needing to get a larger chainsaw for the bigger diameter trees. Especially, one that has a longer bar than my CS-310 (16” bar).
    I have a lawn care company on the side. I was looking at the Echo CS-590. I think it would do everything I need for the jobs I’m welling/comfortable doing. However, I want to get a great chainsaw that will last me a very long time. I think the Echo 7310 engine might be built better. I want a chainsaw, if you had to rebuild the engine, the top end can be rebuilt.
    My dad had a Stihl MS-251 that the top end could not be rebuilt. You basically had to replace the entire engine.
    What’s your thoughts on purchasing a bigger chainsaw? The 7310 will do exactly what I want and more if needed one day.

    • @WilliamsonRidge
      @WilliamsonRidge  Před rokem

      The CS5-90 is a great all around saw and can run a 24” bar no problem, the 7310 is great to and can run a longer bar but for everyday use could get a bit heavy compared to the 590. If weight is not an issue the 7310 may be the way but is is also a lot more expensive, I’m not sure but I think either saw would be no problem getting parts to rebuild and not have to replace.

And nearby where I was working - another person cut off his left arm - trying to stop the saw from reaching his face during a kick back event. Especially during any demo or review - for the sake of others - wear chaps to encourage their use - even if you don't actually care about keeping your appendages. Please forgive the sarcasm. ALWAYS wear protective gear - including CHAPS!
