I recently found this set collecting dust under my bed. It is still factory sealed in the box with a Lego store sticker that reads $99.99. Only after some research did I discover what a grail this was.

I still really wish we got an updated version of this set and Queen Anne's Revenge alongside the release of The Silent Mary/Slalazar's Ship from the Dead Men Tell No Tales sets and I'm honestly surprised they didn't.
It felt like such a missed opportunity for Lego to not make a new and improved version of this set with all the modern pieces and techniques the company offers in newer ship sets like the recent Creator Pirate Ship and Pirates of Barracuda bay, not to mention with how sought after this set is I can almost guarantee an updated version would've sold like hotcakes.

Even though it has been in a fish tank, it's still in great shape! All the ships from these movies are great!
