Rest In Peace Splash Mountain 😑😭🪵🐻🦊🐰🌊
The flume speed was definitely much slower back then.
The camera was also zoomed in more which definitely makes it look slower
R.I.P. Splash Mountain
it won’t be gone till like two years
@@crypt5098 They're saying Disneyland will retheme possibly next year with Orlando and Tokyo being unknown
@@alexdionisos ah okay i heard somewhere it’s leaving around two years
It closed in Disneyland on 2023 wtf why replace a popular ride everyone loves
Omg this ride is so much different from now but I still like splash mountain it’s so cool
Farewell Splash Mountain 😑😭🪵🐻🦊🐰🌊
Rip Splash Mountain 😭🪵🐻🦊🐰🌊
I love this ride, I really do ♡♡♡
Fun fact nick stewart reprise the role as brer bear for splash mountain at Disneyland
and also fun fact the brows landit song relpd the sooner or leter in the 1980s too to be sure again
and also the rides have 1080 and 125 characters in them too to be sure again
This video rocks big time even though the fun facts are useful for people to learn more about the ride's history from the past. Sadly, it'll be renamed "Tiana's Bayou Adventure" in 2024.
Can any one put this on a DVD. for me
WOW!!! So many of the scenes here are far better than how they are nowadays. I’ll never understand why they chose to change Brer Fox’s fur to white.. maybe to make it resemble less of his character from SOTS since its controversial?? It’s pretty dumb either way, but hey, at least it DID have orange fur for awhile. As for the showboat finale, I’m so surprised to know that all the animals still had their America Sings costumes on during that time! And the vocals used back then are much better than what we have now. I’ve even noticed that the first scene with the geese singing “How Do You Do” has definitely gotten some rearranging with the geese, particularly the one closest to you in the boat. I don’t remember it being that close to people but I might be wrong. Anyways, loved the video!!
Thank you! I think you are right about the Br’er Fox thing, since critics who rode the ride were confused why a ride was based on song of the south. I’ll have to check the goose thing, but the showboat vocals do sound a lot better here indeed! Also, I find it kind of weird how over time, the clothes on the hens slowly decreased, because they are now at the point where the only thing that they are wearing are hats 🤣
Did anyone notice how in the video, the light shining over Br’er Rabbit and his home is red, but when you go on it today, it’s green?
I really need to find that instrumental of how do you do the plays after the 2nd lift before the first drop.
I subbed, this is awesome
Brer Rabbit look like he had me fur in the sides
known as the first Disney land ride to open in the 1980s and starting the cast of America sings ride too to be sure again and also was by the one and olly tony backer
i wish they wouldnt change the...voices of the zip a dee do dah, the 90's version is better
Yeah I agree, the 90’s version was in much more harmony than what we have now
@@TheSplashMountainChannel it’s better for some songs like Zip a dee do dah, but some songs are better with the current version such as the song for the Laughing Place
@@lgamertvlgtv2856 Yeah you’re right, I was just talking about zip a dee doo dah
but why did they take there top hats off during the 90's?
That is actually a good question, since they literally abandoned it after the first year of Splash being open XD
Where did you find this video?
Bring Back To Splash Mountain Disneyland And Walt Disney World
and also fun fact the tar baby trued into a bee hive too to be sure again
No, the tar baby was not incorporated into this ride in any way.
Splash Mountain Will Transform Into Tiana's Bayou Adventure.
and also some of the characters ripaces can also be found in the Florida vinge too to be sure again
fun fact the Boot Hill boy’s are known as the brer patch vaulters too to be sure again
and also fun fact the photo owl used to be removed from the ride in the 2012 and 2013 versions too to be sure again
I want to see a video of splash mountain with sooner or later still part of the soundtrack..this says 1989..i thought it would have it
It was never officially implemented into the ride. It was scrapped during the ride’s development and construction cause it was seen as too happy for the atmosphere it was in, so it was replaced with Burrow’s Lament. The instrumental of the song can still be heard in the queue and exit though, so at least they have some references to it.
and also fun fact the splash mountain rides were baced of the tails of the okefenokee swamp ride in the six flags over gorige theme park in the 1960s too to be sure again
Fuck that babies ride Disneyland is more advanced than six flags the ride took over the okefenokee it’s broken
@Garbage Guy yep that’s true I hate that Okefenokee ride
No, it was based off of the animated segments of the 1949 film, “Song of the South”
@@jackrussellfan song of the south is from 1946 not 1949
@@HecklesTheClown Oh ok, I didn’t know. Thanks for informing me!
and also I also know the rest of the fun facts too to be sure again
Idk why they have to redo the ride; Uncle Remus isn’t even on it so how is it racist?
I'm not going to say splash is racist but brer frog in disney world was a tie in to remus in a controversial manner cause he was telling the story of brer Rabbit like him and he appeared in the cartoon world like him
and also n fun fact ride also has hinden mickeys too to be sure again just like the country bears too to be sure again
Is there a specific reason they changed Brer Fox's hair from orange to white? Orange is the correct color, so it's weird they'd change it to the wrong color.
You know, I honestly have no clue. I think it was to further remove the tie-ins from SOTS, but other than that, I have no clue. He is a Fox, and orange was his original color to begin with.
@@TheSplashMountainChannel It's weird because as far as I can remember, WDW's version has orange hair, and so does all the merchandise related to the ride. I would imagine it was just a weird decision, as opposed to distance itself from the movie.
@@charliemacsart Yeah I’m not sure. I really think it was because of the SOTS tie in because critics liked the ride but were confused why it was based on that movie. However, it could’ve also been a weird creative decision, as Br’er Fox has orange hair in every other version of his character.
Also you fact on brer fox hair at the end is wrong cuz the ride is only 31 years old
and also the water pig was replaced with blossom nosed Murray too to be sure again
Was there a reason why Br'er Fox's hair went white?
Sorry I didn’t respond earlier. I believe that they changed Br’er Fox’s hair because they didn’t want the characters in the ride to look too much like the Song of the South characters. That is only a guess though.
I did know that and also the splash mountain characters are still whering ther own outfits too to be sure again
Could be a leftover cosmetic as he is a reskinned Sam the Eagle in this version.
@@ceccappa4686 Could be, but I highly doubt that since Sam Eagle from America Sings didn’t have white hair sticking out of the sides of his head
@@TheSplashMountainChannel hmmm but in the Florida version he doesn’t have the white hair.
and also fun fact the pupkin statue used to be the haunted mansion ride in the 1940s
Where did you find this info
Huh?
what
disneyland wasn’t even being created in the 1940’s
who also built the Florida vinge and Tokyo vinges too to be sure again
Why would they change it to white that makes it less accurate.
