- Is the Lodge Cook-it-All better than a regular Dutch oven? Watch us use the Cook-it-All as a pizza oven and a regular Dutch oven and we will let you know if it is a must have. Also, we throw in a few Dutch oven tips of our own.
I have a Lodge, Le Creuset, Cuisinart and vintage no name Dutch ovens. I think that I am covered, but I don't have that one! Good review.
Nice video, please do more outdoor cooking videos. The massive amount of views speak for itself.
I was looking for something just like this! Thank you for the video.
Old, slow brain here! I have a new Cook-it-all that I haven't used yet...soon to be remedied. But in looking at your metal coal cooking stand, it dawned on me that the old bbq I was going to scrap, with a little cutting here and there would make a great dutch oven stand for the outdoor kitchen. Reused, repurpose, save $$... Really enjoyed the video. That c-i-all is perfect for great stews and lots of other uses. A nice addition.
I'm likin' the looks of this new product from Lodge.
It's been around for what over 5 years , it's not new.
Thanks for the Video. I paired this with my Lodge Pro Sportsman and they team up pretty well for all around use. Not the greatest at one thing but it keeps my camp equipment to a minimum.
Good stuff!! Thank you for sharing!!! Absolutely love lodge!!!!!!
Great video man. Really super helpful. I picked up the piece of gear, but I haven’t used it out of on the road yet. Really looking forward to getting out there and using it now. I’ll probably get their cooking table now also. Thanks for posting!
I just subscribed - you're now at 350 :) Based on this first and only video I've watched from you, I expect your subscriber numbers to grow quickly :) - It's just a matter of getting people to find your videos in the first place

Nice job!
Lekker concept 😊
Cool design
watching sir from the philippines
Very cool nice video folks ,let's try a cake in that there picza oven 😮😅 .
I'm going to look for one of those. use wooden utensils safer to protect the seasoning
❤️
This is my first look at this pot. From the depth estimate of the pot it looks like don’t throw your 8qts away.
Definitely keep your traditional Dutch Ovens. The cook it all adds a fun spin on outdoor cooking
@@hairry7899it’s in no way deep enough for a traditional roast for a big family your right.
Having said that I might see if the algorithm sends me something that contradicts that.
Using that same charcoal, chimney. Crumple up two or three sheets of newspaper depending on their size. Put it under the charcoal, chimney, and light it. It will quickly start the fire without any lighter fluid.
Add a splash or two of cooking oil to a couple paper towels under the chimney works well and fast.
Or use one of the "haystack" dry tinder starters for zero chemical odor.
Paper bags work better than newspaper for starting fires. They burn longer.
Been looking at the Cook It All for awhile, haven't got one yet, just wish it had more of a dome to it to use as a Peka Sac oven. Please don't use metal utensils in your cast iron, buy some wood, bamboo or cheap heat resistant synthetic utensils.
All I've ever used is metal utensils. It's fine. Just a myth.
How long did each of those meals take in real time with set up and cook times?
The first pizza took about 15 minutes because the Dutch oven had to heat up. If you preheat the oven prior it would take about 8-10 minutes. The roast was around 40 to 45 minutes
Great video, thank you. I'm looking at either getting this or a 6qt camp dutch oven. Which do you think would be more versatile, this or the dutch oven? Thanks
Tough call. Assuming you don't have any traditional Dutch Ovens, I would probably start with the 6qt Dutch oven first so you can become familiar with Dutch oven cooking. I would purchase the Cook-it-all next because of how versatile it is. Hope this helps!
@@hairry7899 thank you. I was leaning that way, so thank you for the information. I haven't ever done Dutch oven cooking while camping, but definitely want to. Rei is having their 20% off sale. I'll pick up the 6qt. Thanks again.
Great review you can never go wrong with lodge cast-iron, and if you do wanna perfect all you need to do is take an orbital sander and sand out their seasoning, then simply re-season much better nonstick, like your grandmothers used to be, FYI on your forest river RV one of the close-up pictures while you’re cooking. It looks like those China bomb tires need to be replaced.
You can just use a Dutch oven to do all the same as that.
Sweet shirt 👍👍
Haha, thanks! It's cool you recognized the shirt 😎
Where do we order?
$200 Amazon…
It's more like a skillet than a DO
What a faf , your better off with the campingaz 400 party grill.
Make a fresh pizza, make or get some fresh dough. The frozen pizza was disappointing.
Yes, we will do a scratch pizza! We'll probably just do a CZcams short
When we camp we get the laucke rustic white bread flour , each box has four 600g bags and a satchel of dry yeast one bag has enough to make six NY style or eight traditional Napoletana in a 8” pan
Frozen Pizza are uncool😢
Did a quick short with scratch made pizza
