    Great video. If anyone is new to the array command, you can multiply AND divide with it.
    For example, copy-move an object to the opposite end of your desired array area, then use the / key and a number to divide that movement into however many copies you'd like. The array commands work with the guides as well.

    Hi, is there a feature to set a scene view vertically strait along the blue axis automatically ? i ususally do it by straightening a vertical guide along the safe frame

      I haven't used SketchUp in a while but you can, I believe it's under the View tab and Set View > (Left, Right or whatever side it may be). That is going off memory so I hope that's right

    Hi! I'm designing a floorplan that is not perfect rectangle, it's like zigzag. How can I use SketchUp in that? Because the lines goes rectangle, it doesn't follow the zigzag. I'm sorry I can't explain well.

    • @kylesinko
      @kylesinko  Před 3 lety +1

      Hi Dom! You can actually change the axes of the file by going to tools > axes. This will allow you to change the red/green/blue axes in order to follow the zig zag pattern. Hope that helps :)

    nice tipss. and i have a question in mind i hope you will answer it. so i told before on the other of your vid. that im a first year architecture student. i just wanna know if when we will be using computers. i mean more on tech thingy. and lastly what would you suggest cause im planning getting desktop instead of lappy. thanks for responding sirrr. love your vidssss.🖤

    • @kylesinko

      Thank Pat! We really started getting into technology in the second year. First year has a lot of hand drawing and model making but I encourage you to explore more computer-based stuff if that interests you. I did a lot of Sketchup for my Studio 2 project which turned out well.
      Ideally, a laptop AND desktop would be great - I run a cheap $200 laptop and have my higher-powered desktop at home as I use it more. If you travel a lot or plan to do most your work at uni/away from home, I'd consider investing in a high powered laptop.
      Hope that helps :)

      I'm at my first year too, well i supposed to be at my 2nd year RN but because of the pandamic we didn't finish the year .. WHATEVER lol ! In the first year here we are not supposed to use any programs.. but me, i had some difficulties in making models and creating new shapes .. so they recommended me to use sketchup and i was the only one who used it in my class.. it is very very very helpful because i have a lot of ideas in my mind and sketchup helped me to translate them into 3D models , and also very easy to use 😍
