Everything in this video is said for the entertainment. - Zábava
There is now a sequel if you will, had to scrap the first version due to some concerns from a the train driver. Sorry for the delay! Happy Christmas!
Amazing
Making some good points definitely. I've kinda been playing with the thoughts of train surfing for years, but I think it's too risky, as you mention yourself. Despite the fact, that I actually live in one of the "recommended" cities, Nyborg.
Anyways, nice video buddy!
Thank you! I actually is making a follow up, focused more on Train Surfing in Europe as a whole, make sure to check that out, it's gonna be alot bigger than this
@@NortOfficial Sounds cool, man. Subscribing to your channel!
@@ThisMayContainNuts Thank you! Of course it's here that I should tell you to never Train Surf, but I just don't think that's true
@@NortOfficial Yeah, well, probably shouldn't, but I can understand the temptation for sure. Especially if you think trains are cool!
@@ThisMayContainNuts For legal reason, I would say don't, as a Train Nerd, well, my next video will cover that opinion, that's why I make it, because there is 2 sides, the Train lover and the adventure seeker
There's a big difference between trainsurfing and freighthopping. Surfing passenger trains is considered trainsurfing while surfing freights is considered freight hopping. (that is only 1 difference, more differences would be routes, the way you surf, the way you get there, etc. Cba to write them) Also you don't need a spot to freighthop lol, you can also do it from the platform, opposite side of the platform or wherever the freight stops. Just make sure no one sees you and you're chill. I've had hundreds of opportunities to freighthop without spots, just can't do it at the moment since I barely have any time for myself. Will do soon though :P
I don't remember you need a specific spot, more in the way that there are areas more suited for getting on board than others, could take a freight everyday if i wanted to, because I know the railroad and how it works on a deeper level, but for a newcomer, that's something else, they don't know where to hid, a nerd does
Not possible? Famous last words. GIFGAS train surfs all the time. Try it! It's a blast!
I do watch Poison, and im not saying it is impossible, just hard work 😂 (i do prefer Shiey tho). Also check out part 2 of my videos about surfing!
I also did some experimentation in Norway and I was a ble to record a video to youtube on train hopping there
I thought Norway was even worse, but I can see how on smaller routes it might be durable?
yeh, I know that going from the freight terminal in gandal south of stavanger to kristiansand is possible becaus I have done it before. I want to see if it is possible to get back by freight. Also I want to go from Oslo to bergen and a youtuber who drives freight and passenger trains posted some slow tv videos where she drives the train witch might be usfull if you want to know where the trains stop@@NortOfficial
@@SteinBee How does that train pass the water between those 2 cities? I drove there last year, and had to cross with 2 ferries
Between Bergen and Stavanger? there is'nt a train that goes directly between the 2. You can get there by train via Oslo @@NortOfficial
@@SteinBee Ment Stavanger to Kristianstad
Interesting
Truly, a follow up is due
@@NortOfficial lmk when you post it
@@dancer1 Wilco, and thanks for doing some great stuff, I've seen some of your stuff about a year ago
The Due Has Been Followed with a 2nd part
what do you think of surfing the s trains?
I like them, from what they are... tbh, i think they are past their prime, hitting almost 25 years of service, it's time to look into new material, but it's a simple train, good for new drivers
du dansk?
I am indeed, yes
Hey Nort. Is it possible to get in direct contact with you? cant seem to find you on insta or twitter
