i am pretty sure near the end of the pendragon adaptation when the journalist leaves the artilleryman to dig, a handling machine comes crashing into the house the artilleryman is in. provides a much clearer view of the handling machine

The 2005 pod is called a harvester
In the 2005 war of the worlds they are actually 3 types of tripods so first we have the harvesters which only have the grabbers and the soldiers ( I forgot what they are called) which only have the zappers and the one with both these qualities are called warriors which also have a flatter head with buffed up shields and armour
The soldiers were called Centurions

Glad you included me, harvester also has a cage which warrior doesnt, warrior only has tentacles for fashion also the one with zappers are mostly known as exterminators.

Anywhere I can watch THAT version of Jeff Wayne's rendition? I know theres a remastered version but that's the only one I've been able to find. Or am I just completely wrong here?

I love that great martian war mocumentary they aired. I was too young maybe 9 and I thought it was real.
I created plants versus zombies war of the world a distant planet called tripe artist launches a giant cylinder that crash lands into Naperville by lightning all the plants and zombies gather around the next morning only to see that the cylinder has unscrewed and the Martian comes out the Martian design is pretty amazing it has 40 eyes some sort of a head on top a lot of tentacles and black eyes and it's bigger than a lawn mower

from the Dvd. I know it's hard to get hold of Content these days as they don't like it to be seen .
