So here's my theory... Matt has been giving some of the Ruidus folk voices that sound like someone else (like the old Bormodo guy who sounds like Johnny Carson, and now Gaz Tomo who sounds like Pat Warburton) - it's bc the Ruidus folk are "mimicking" Exandrians so likewise Matt is "mimicking" other famous people
This blew my mind. I like this idea a lot.

When he said the Weave Mind engages in psychic bioengineering, I'm starting to think maybe the Weave Mind is a collective of Mindflayers, or were originally Mindflayers maybe that got trapped when Predothos was imprisoned and Ruidus was formed, and maybe got mutated by Predothos, maybe the Rylorans are the resulting species.
That would be pretty cool, though I feel like they might be trying to stay away from parts of D&D lore they don't anymore. I mean, who really knows, I certainly don't, but with their cartoons and comics and all that, they might be

The confusion, pain, loss, and love and support between Imogen and Laudna is really fascinating. Are they lost to outside forces without each other or are they betraying each other with their true desires, things they only unconsiously want for themselves. The desire for power or safety and comfort or both ... it's a fantastic dichotomy. Are they helping or hurting each other? What's the alternative, given their pressures and lack of options? I love this.

Well, to be fair, there's been a toxic dependency on eachother throughout the narrative that really unfolded mid campaign, so they aren't entirely wrong.
There does need to be some self awareness from Twitch Chat though, because dahm they're a lot.
Ira is like the creepy eccentric uncle that no one wants to be around but you invite them to family events anyway

Once, the nations lived in harmony, but that all changed when a megalomanical, narcissistic elf used the weird, red second moon to attack.
And then when Imogen fights her mum it can be the zuko azula lightening fight!
Man. That shit with Imogen's mom. Like, you read about ppl in these situations, who stick with their spouse or their boss or whatever because they're convinced she's necessary to stop thwmem from doing something even worse, even if it costs her everything else she claims to love.
It's real gross. Real sad.
in a way you could comapre the dynamic of imogens mom and ludenis to Imogen herself and laudna. Not to say Laudna is ludenis but rather the dynamic of sticking with someone wanting to help but getting caught in a toxic spiral.
That tense conversation between Imogen and her mom was beautifully well done and I cant wait for the final boss battle between the 2!

With a guy like Ira you take the help with the betrayal. He's a dangerous guy who I'd never rely on doing the right thing. But if your course of action lines up with the direction of his current schemes and/or plots, well he can be useful.

If you haven't seen them. Try and look their episodes of narrative telephone. Off the top of my head you can see the whole cast try to be beau, jester, and cauduses.

I'm surprised they didn't try to convince the Volition to go after Otohan instead of Imogen's mom. They know Otohan is straight up evil and they even have a way to track her!

2:21:00 The point is that Ludinus - as well as many other powerful beings in Exandria - resents the gods for their power, particularly the power over mortality and the afterlife. It's a whole theme that Matt's been doing, high level mages seeking power and immortality. Vespin Chloras tried to become a god, Vecna tried to become a god, the Bright Queen found a means of immortality and wants to see the gods fall, now Ludinus is doing the megalomania dance.

it just hit me this episode how close Laura's characters plot actually is to mass effect. imogen (liara t'soni) is having to deal with her mother (matriarch benezia) as she follows BBEG ludinas (Saren Arterius) who is trying to bring back a long forgotten threat (the reapers). benezia even started following saren for the same reasons as imogens mother, wanting to sway him from his path, only to end up serving him.
Does that make Chetney or Laudna Commander Shepard?

I don't know if this is a fixable thing, but after the live broadcast here on YT, the video doesn't show up until Monday, but it shows up 3 days old, which puts it way back in hard-to-find territory in a subscription queue. If that's an unavoidable consequence of streaming on both platforms, I get it, but I thought the team might want to be aware.

Yeah its an intentional decision to try push people to paid membership sadly. Its even worse in other countries because for us it comes out of Tuesday, or potentially even Wednesday depending on how late they make it public.
They're putting the weekly schedule out on Mondays, I'm just clicking on the channel there and then going through their videos. It is an extra step though.
It's their own loss, when the video resurfaces on Monday, it won't get the traction as if it was newly published

Like, Predathos also fancies itself a god on this moon to an extent, it's utter hypocrisy. and there's NO assurance that it'll stop at the devouring of the gods. Who's to say it wont devour Exandria next? I wanted Imogen to yell at her mom for her hipocrisy and call out the self-martyring. the "Woe is me, I HAD to make so many sacrifces" talk is real infuriating, then she has the audacity to say she loves Imogen!? aw hell naw.

All of the connections that are coming to light and the what ifs are making my brain happy, such as if the gods are destroyed, what does that mean for vax and the other god champions especially since vax is an orb or what does that mean for the objects holding vecna in a different realm but on the flip side if they are gone then does that mean a release for those that never wanted to be champions or death to those that were saved by them and holy crap my brain is running 90 miles per hour trying to put the connections together as to who the weave mind could be and I love it plus all of the deep conversations as to what to do and what could go wrong and should we do this ornot is amazing and I can't wait to see how these divided missions go even though I am nervous. Sorry for the rant

In episode 136 of c2 there was mention of how if a lerson time traveled to a time line other then their own shadows would be left behind what if the pack on ner back is allowing her to travel to different times as she uses it to jump

Holy flip I just had a thought. Ichithon might be free. He was bound with magical means and, if not for that, could easily escape non magical bindings. When the apogee solstice happened, magic stuff stopped working. He could have easily escaped.
