    Most tuners and engine builders I talk to dont suggest going over 620ft lbs of torque with the stock internal unless its a m235i or an M2 as they have upgraded bearings and a forged crank. Personally Ive noticed the main issue is spun bearings, the stock rods are forged but thats it unless you have the m2 or m235i. So personally I would say once you start getting over 600-620whp and matching torque its playing with fire. If you have the m235i or m2 Steve Wedge has put hundreds of racing miles on his m235i with stock internals pushing over 700whp.

    • @dylanjoyal9257
      @dylanjoyal9257 Před 9 měsíci

      So just so I understand correctly. If you don’t have the M2 or M235i you should plan on upgrading your rod bearings if your planning on pushing 600whp or more? If so is there anything else in the internals I will need to upgrade?

    • @Inhouseperformance
      @Inhouseperformance  Před 9 měsíci +5

      Ill never run a precision turbo, they are junk quality and I personally know dozens and dozens of people whove received them with excessive shaft play and tons of issues and precision blames the install or the oil used. I will only ever run garrett or pulsar. But I did the Pure 750 as Ive had a good relationship with them and was providing them data and personally I was interested on how much more power a hybrid turbo was capable of producing. And personally Im very impressed.

    just found your vids but i had a quick question about the block off plate and bov setup, is it completely plug n play or would i have to get a tune for it or even remap the maf to a different spot because ive been trying to figure out a way for a bov on a n55 and it was always saying on forums that the n55 couldnt just run a bov bc it has maf unlike the n54 having a map which allows for the bov

    • @Inhouseperformance

    Greta video! I’ve got a 2013 640i MHD stage 2+. However I want better numbers. I already ordered a DS2 hpfp, a walbro 450 lpfp, some colder plugs, PR ignition kit and a flex fuel kit to use e, also XHP. You think if I add the pure 750 I can reach 600 whp and would I need to forge anything ? Thanks!

    • @Inhouseperformance
      @Inhouseperformance  Před 8 měsíci

      You can get high 500s in pump gas and low 600s on E85. The motor should handle low 600s my only concern for you would be rod bearings and transmission.

      @@Inhouseperformance thanks for your reply! I don’t wanna deal with internals, you think pure 750 is too much and rather should I go for another turbo? I wanna be in the mid 500s maybe 600 a few times.

    • @EddieRoldan-ns6jv
      @EddieRoldan-ns6jv Před 2 měsíci

      Your Bmw stock is pushing 315hp give or take. If your going to push or 600 why you going to want to change your crank hub or risk spinning it. Forged is good, but costly. Just keep your torque under 600hp.

  • @MyZ28714
    @MyZ28714 Před 10 měsíci

    So you would need the block off to use your charge pipe with the blow off valve right ?

    • @Inhouseperformance
      @Inhouseperformance  Před 10 měsíci

      You can use the block off without the charge pipe technically. A lot of people do it but the N55 isnt like the S55 and B58. They use the valvetronic to release pressure from the system. But yes if you purchased my charge pipe you would then need to switch to an aftermarket blow off valve and install my block off plate.

    • @Inhouseperformance
      @Inhouseperformance  Před 10 měsíci +2

      Love the Pure750! This turbo has amazing spool characteristics especially low end surprisingly. Hitting 20psi by 3000rpm and 30psi by 3800 rpm. Thats amazingly good for a larger turbo thats possibly capable of 700whp. And the boost is straight across from 3800-6200rpm. Speedtech makes some good kits but I think the Pure750 is a really good option.

    Do you think I can push 450-500 whp running a E85 mix with this turbo on my 2015 535? Also do you think I would need to build the engine or transmission for that type of power? Right now I’m on a ots map from MHD running a E mix and I’m believe I’m at about 360-380 whp. Great video by the way keep it up love to see where this car goes👍🏼.

    • @Inhouseperformance
      @Inhouseperformance  Před 10 měsíci +1

      Yes all day long, a Pure Stage 2 would work for that power too. Do not need to build the engine or transmission. I would just do XHP transmission flash and youll need to upgrade your entire fuel system and you can do 500whp all day.
