celebrating too early! btw are they taking hints from "Why Did You Do It?" fan fic lol. but really if they are going to bring Joan back just to go mad again and then get killed before the finale just to fill a baddie's shoes then it's a waste, since we've seen it all before and more of a clutch since Sonia is gone.
hopefully they explore Joan redeeming herself and maybe she gets moved to another prison or receive actual psych help, along with some Joan/Vera moments. that would actually be something for the character, since according to leaked S7 spoilers, the case of Joan Ferguson has been "put to bed".

Prophetess of MeoW Episode 7 didn't hit the right spot for me either. I thought it was okay, but nothing spectacular. I was all for Vera looking more into the allegations about Sonia and the ending. It felt lackluster otherwise. I hope episode 8 offers more. It feels like it might, but won't really know until next Tuesday.

Could be Sonia's Friends on the outside, as Sonia's death happened on her watch. But no... must be Joan. Lame.

Wentworth writing is always unpredictable and outside the box! if you keep an open mind, there's a lot of ways they could pull this off, give Joan fans a satisfying closure, and she does not need to be 'back' inside Wentworth's walls either. it's less about coming back, but more of wrapping up storylines since S7 is supposedly the last.
they could take the lazy way out and close Joan's case before S7 after using all this bait to the maximum, which will be more disappointing for some of us, nevertheless we are still watching.
