It’s obvious, telling by the gloves, that someone ( could possibly be Joan or someone that works for her/knew her) is up to intimidate Vera and to put her in place . This defo looks like a threat of some sort

I've got suspicions about Channing tbh. He usually rears his head around this time per season. What even happened to him anyway? While I'd love for Joan to return, your are right, it makes little sense for her to harass Vera - unless she thinks Vera was in on her being buried, but that again doesn't make a lot of sense. Vera wouldn't have saved her the first time just to kill her. If it is Joan she's either just gone entirely bat-shit or...with the night stalking, leaving presents on the doorstep, disembodied pussy-cat noises in the night, gloves on the bed. I think Joan's just trying to set up a sexy play date. ;)

I think it could be the Freak. If I remember correctly, she had the same tools in her box that Franky had in order for her to escape. As for the dirt, it wasn't too deep of a grave. Though I doubt she had time to run into a department store to buy new gloves, so that's where I become skeptical. It could be the officer Vera framed.

I think Jake put officer Murphy up to this. He is so afraid of Will telling Vera what really happened. By doing this than Will and Vera will think Joan is still alive. Jake did talk to officer Murphy afterwards getting info on her firing. Who knows what else they will show us in a flashback of him putting officer Murphy up to this. Besides Vera fired Murphy So Murphy would love to get even and scare her former boss who fired her. It just doesn't really make sense for Joan to do this to Vera now that she knows Vera saved her life. If Joan were alive she'd probably think Jake buried her and kill him first.
Just to let all u fans in the United States know that season 6 will be on Netflix on Sept 5th......the only thing thst sucks is I saw previews of all of the episodes and still even by episode 9 it's still unknown if the freak is dead or alive. But my gut tells me she's alive so stay tuned for Sept 5th new season on Netflix

Vera should be able to breathe a little bit more, but this is gonna light a fire under everyone's asses. It feels like Ferguson, but I can't explain why it feels a little different. Can't wait to see what comes next.
I think it's radcliff. She was fired by Vera for no reason other than she was fucking around with Jake. Which I guess is illegal on the job, but you know.. it was more personal than anything. I think it's her or someone working for her to scare the shit out of Vera. Either that or it's Doreen cause the Magpie reference..

Melanie Though the biggest reason for firing Radcliff was for personal reasons, she still could not account for safely locked up drugs went missing even though Radcliff knew she gave them to Jake for him to give to Will. Also, what real vendetta does Doreen have against Vera for her to do that? I saw Vera be more than kind and accommodating to Doreen. I can't place my finger on why the strategically placed leather gloves, which is a Ferguson trademark, felt off. All of it does; from the magpie to the gloves.
I do however think Vera needs to keep Ken Doll dusty dick Jake out of her personal. He was trouble from his first appearance and she fell into his trap.
