June 15th 2024 US Congressional Democrat candidate Julie Johnson, Atty Cassandra Hernandez for HD115 and Stephanie Draper for TEXAS Senate District 12 were invited to participate in a commemoration of JUNETEENTH at BLACKLIT a bookstore that strives to highlight literacy in marginalized students and groups. Genius Music geniusmusic.org curates a literacy culture in hip hop by turning best selling books into amazing hip hop anthems. Coach Kimm brings together heart driven women in the culture and community in order to center focus on the pulse of our youth.
