Miku (rhythm guitar and lyricist) had previously worked at a Maid Café and thought it would be fun to take that kind of cuteness and contrast it with Rock 'n' Roll. After finding her lead guitarist Kanami via an Internet search, the rest of the members (drummer Akane and bassist MISA) were added as the new members referred her to other musicians they had worked with and liked. Miku started off handling lead vocals, but the band decided to add an additional singer to expand their range. Saiki was selected after auditions. There whole catalog is solid, but I have only one request. React to the song 'Secret My Lips' BEFORE reacting to 'Secret Maiko Lips'. Trust me on this one.

So glad you finally got around to reacting to Band Maid. I knew you'd like them. I really can't add too much more to what has already been said by others except to add my vote for their song Real Existence, which was my first experience with Band Maid, and if you like heavy bass lines (love dat bass) you should try Moritorium.
Band-Maid are awesome. Great songs, top notch musicianship, secret weapon is Akane the drummer. Very explosive drum style, deadly footwork. It's predictable that people would spam you with requests to react to them after Babymetal as it seems to be a pattern, but it's a good one.

Great band! Great energy. Check out The Warning "Dust to Dust" and do a reaction video. Also, they do a cover of Metallica "Atlas Rise that I think you would like too. They are another awesome female rock band. They are three sisters- Dany-guitar (19 yrs old), Pau- drums (17 yrs old) and Ale-bass (14 yrs old}. Aldious is also an amazing band along with Existtrance. Li-Sa-X I would say is probably one of the most talented Japanese upcoming artists. She's only like 14 but holyshit are you f****** kidding me. 🔥🎸🔥Japan is really defying all expectations here as who would have thought. :b

hey you should check out The Gazette - Deux live. The Gazette is a japanese heavy metal band that combines heavy uncleans with bright melodic vocals, i think youd be into it! (love your videos, sorry if my english is poor)

They are the real deal. Can actually sense they have some of those musical "Elements" from the 80s - 90s metal/rockers.
