Yep 😂. I have 52 hours played in the demo😅. And the character Im going to main is not even in the demo. But my secondaries Rackom and Katalina are in the demo, and they fun as heck. The game is just very addicting. Which is a good thing, very polished and performs extremely well👍

I played the demo on PS5 and really enjoyed it. Thinking of getting it. It will be my first Granblue game.

the demo was fire had me looking up the anime, i’m def coppin this 💯 reminds me of a mix of genshin and monster hunter and tales of arise FIRE combo

I've been describing it as tales of/monster hunter/dynasty warriors.
I enjoyed the anime and found it very charming. This wil definitely be a purchase for me some time after Dragons Dogma 2 and the Elden Eing DLC

There’s not actual armor, per se, but you can unlock skins and color combinations.

pretty sure a short few characters might have different skins and theres gonna be recolors also yes weapons do change looks when you craft new weapons and equip them and theres also weapon skins too

I played the demo on my ps4 slim and ps5 and tbh ps4 was playable even with 4 players using skills with a close to 30 fps. Its also crossplay for both consoles and you purchase both as well so you can upgrade to the ps5 later.
Is this game like the "Tales of ..." series in terms of amount of cutscenes/text and combat?
Just played the demo and thought it was great. The combat was really good. I just wish I could adjust the camera more than just changing the sensitivity. Separate X/Y sensitivity and acceleration toggle/slider would be great.
Is there craftable armor and weapons from the monsters like monster hunter? Because I'm always drawn to games like these, that resemble monster hunter, but the sad thing is most anime rpgs never focus heavily on the armor customization or upgrading. If the game plays amazing, has awesome skills etc but has me looking the same through the entirety of it, never unlocking awesome looking gear it really brings me down and changes my opinion on if I want to invest time into it.
I hope the PC version is good. The fact we still can't see the price for it on steam, no preorder , and no demo. Isn't a good sign. I know sony paid extra for the demo but still.

@@vampireelephant7999 Nah it’s more like monster hunter but more simple , I said I was going to put hundreds of hours and I wasn’t lying , I got 350 now. One of the best games I played and for sure the best one this year yet. Waiting for that hades 2 aswell 🔥

Performance mode sacrifices image for better FPS - it's doing its job correctly and doesn't need to be fixed.
This is just my honest opinion!
But I feel the battle system isn't that easy to pick up. I feel like there's abit of learning curve to it. But I wouldn't go as far as to say "new player friendly" Yeah you can just hack and slash. But for harder bosses you do need to learn combos. Amd that's clearly shown in the demon. Specially to get those s++ rank.
But with that been said. I personally did have a fun time learning. It took me 3 days till I finally got s++ on the first 2 bosses.
And im only saying that there is a learning curve to the battle system is cause I compare it to final fantasy 15. In that game all you do is just bottom bash. Avoid moves and heal. But with this. If you need to beat the harder bosses that require a time. You need to be doing the most damage from your character.
BUT I STILL ENJOYED THE GAME. I WILL BE GETTING IT!!!
Because this is developed by Platinum Games. They are known for their fast-paced character-action skill based combat like Bayonetta and Nier Automata where you have to perfect timing and perform different combos to survive. You can't button mash in their games. You're going to have to git gud otherwise you'll struggle when the game gets very difficult.
@@WushuKnight19 yeah I agree with you 100%. I just ment cause a few youtubers I've seen review the game. And this youtuber also, not 100% exactly what he said. But I think he said it's "first time player friendly" which I disagree with. Like you and I both said. It does take abit of a learning curve or else you'll struggle with the harder bosses.

I do not understand how this game's world works than. Are there like, a few maps that you return to with different quests? There is no map to the game anywhere....
Really hoping this game can fully shine and not get overshadowed by Persona 3 Reload and vice versa

So far he’s listed as apart of the main story but not as one of the unlock-able characters. However we don’t know if he might be playable at some point of the campaign. So let’s see once the game comes out.

hey played the demo, really like it but can anyone explain what "arts I/II/III/IV" appear by the character during gameplay mean?
Arts increases the power of your skills, the higher the arts level the more damage your Reginleiv will do, Armor Breaks' DEF debuff will be stronger, Panacea will heal more health, etc.

Not 100% sure, but I've heard it's region locked for the steam version. I don't know about the PS5 version tho.

It still is. A good hand full of developers from Platinum moved over to CyGames to work on it, including the director.

Granblue is one of those games that has such a cool world and group of characters that it was always a shame it was a gacha.
Thankfully that’s not the case with this game

i tried it and do the quest for all characters..and…i dont see any satisfaction of defeating the bosses…i dont know but it seems go get a quest, fight…go get a quest, fight….repeat repeat repeat…you will play this game for a week or two, then play your usual game again…this game is just being over hype tbh…
But isn't that the exact concept that made the Monster Hunter games so successful? But yeah I see why it might be hard for some people to see the point of it.
It's for the npc that like to see the stats of their characters go up. These are the same type of people that skip every cutscene and say "the main part of a game is always the end game"

Loved the demo , my PS5 bought day one was taking dust since the first 2 months i've had it mainly cos i only play MH world and Rise on xbox with friends, but this game have a bit of MH to it , Wish it could have more but i hope some online quests will really be challenging with huge bosses like in world... i would love to see this game runs natively on my 15 PM too with a backbone controller , this would be awesome too.
I wish the thing you added to this "to know" list is the game is actually a continuation of the mobile game. So we are missing a whole chunk a freaking story here.
And the only way to catch up is to either look up mobile game playthroughs on youtube or watch a mediocre anime with a half assed story missing tons of lore from the mobile game.

@@echos9396 i tried the Quest mode. Not sure how it plays on full game. But again, it was nothing special. Not saying it's bad. It's fun, like tales of arise.
I did not try multiplayer. But I don't like Co op on consoles.

Because the gameplay is more character-action skill based than most JRPGs out there making it addicting enough to have high replayability to master the combat similar to Devil May Cry/Nier Automata and Bayonetta.

I i really liiked this demo, but I havent played Persona 3. Do yall think reload is worth it.
I would definitely consider this game. I think you will be sold on the combat and character depth. At least for me that’s where I was sold. Not only this but we are looking at an RPG with everything upfront, the experience will last 100+ hours with tons of replay ability. P3 will definitely be good but as someone who has already played the game and has played the demo of Relink for 10+ hours and has followed the game for quite some time now I think relink will be a better decision.
Persona has no replay value and the remake looks very lazy u will get sick of the games duegon it’s barely been improved
so...the co op mode. will be sand boxed, like the demo. kill waves, spawn monster...so little to offer when online games are so big. pity. and the bots are actually pretty damn useful, and are probably better than real players. why bother.
If Yuel is playable and is anything like she is in the versus games then my main is well and truly sorted XD

Alright, a lot of comments on here making claims how amazing this game and content on just the demo is lying and paid shills. I got the game and honestly its okay on content. It more like a mobile rpg, but with a bigger level. The graphics is great and the combat. CoOp is lacking and dont see it being used as months go by.

The combat doesn’t seem to flow very well though.
It's crazy how this game went from my most anticipated of the year. To maybe I'll pick it up later when it goes on deep sale. And all cuz of a few words(#9), "Designed with coop in mind". When i heard online features in this game may be a focus, it immediately set off red flags. After playing the demo, it's exactly as I'd feared... 😔

@@WushuKnight19 I played the tutorial, story mode and 3 hunts available. I also completed them with every character, it's blatantly obvious you cant swap characters mid battle cuz of its coop design. That's why combined team bursts have timing windows... 🤷

This game is fucking amazing I’ve put 30 hours into the demo it’s so addicting!! The only problem is the story being solo I think that’s a waste cause I’m here to play with friends and the story could have been perfect for that

The only thing that REALLY worries me about this game is that they might stop supporting it after a couple of years. Kinda want them to continuously add content to it.
There is enough online content in the game itself. Hell, people have put around 100 hours into the demo alone.

it is a solo game. You don't have to play multiplayer, that's optional. You could even play without CPU during quests.
Played the demo and was a big let down. Felt like an ordinary Garcia game with button smashing, linear levels and the same combos over and over again. No tactical or immersive fighting as videos may suggested. :/

I’ve watched a bunch of videos on this game, and I’m still not sure what kind of game it’s going to be. Tales of arise mixed with borderlands and a bit of monster hunter? I’m confused, I thought I read somewhere that the dev said the main campaign wasn’t going to be all that long, it was the end game that was going to be the real meat with the co-op and bosses and all that. Haven’t the devs only ever done those lame gacha mobile games? Hope official reviews are out soon I need a new jrpg for my Oled deck.
About 20 hours of campaign but if you decide to do side content/quests it could take about 100 hours
