Okay, so- THE AMOUNT OF EFFORT PUT I TO THAT HAIR AND TOW ANIMATION TO MAKE IT UNIQUE IN EACH LITTLE WHIP IN THE WIND IS SUPERB AND I CANNOT GET OVER IT! A full fledge 19 seconds of non-looping hair flowing animation is phenomenal, I am in awe
i love the detail of the '01' being visible for the 1 in the countdown but not visible for the 2 and 3
great animation tho!! the colours are delicious as usual and the hair moving looks so smooth

CAN I JUST SAY ive been watching this over and over again,, currently in community college learning animation, and I would absolutely fuckin love a video explaining the process on how the heck you were able to animate the hair like that?? Like even specifically the bangs?? I love this animation so much!!!!
I animated it straight ahead and without a sketch! Because I wanted the wind to look super erratic I kept the process like that too. The biggest thing is I would only animate a couple locks of hair at a time so I could focus on the individual movements, so like the center of the bangs was the first part I finished first, and then I moved on to the longer bits of hair near the sides of her face.
Also her pigtails are like a 6 frame loop that were all animated on 1s (I use 12fps by default so I guess technically 2s by industry standard!) but her bangs ranged anywhere from being on 1s to 3s! The bangs going slower helps to keep the viewers eye focused on them because they’re the star of the animation, and the faster looping pigtails kinda fade into the bg!
