- Holy cow is this figure fantastic!! #mattel #hammondcollection #giganotosaurus is one of the best figures so far in HC!! Incredibly movie accurate. Amazing details and paint apps. This thing is the complete package!!! Love seeing all the improvements and upgrades this line has received over two years. Only criticism is the very proportionate feet makes it hard to balance. But still better than the clown shoes rex 😂. A fantastic addition to your #jurassicworld #dinosaur collection.

I've been with you since almost your beginning here on YT so I've seen you grow a ton as a reviewer. I think you've been churning out objectively great, informed, and fun reviews for a few years now so I'm fine with the less edits if you're strapped for time. But I can tell how much fun you had inserting little jokes and jabs and I dig it as well, so bottom line is go with whichever approach fits you that day 👍 Cheers my friend 🍻
I’m having more fun with the edits and jokes. That’s more me. I’ve never really been the one to get the review out first and rush it. Rather put out good quality reviews and jugs have fun. Because that’s what’s this hobby is all about. And the friends I’ve made along the way like you is what makes it worth it. 🍻

The figure is absolutely phenomenal, I got mines yesterday along with the therizinosaurus and they are my absolute favorite figures now! The giganotosaurus proportions and sculpt is spot on, the paint, its all everything I wanted from a giganotosaurus! Definitely makes up for the silly mechanism giga we got 2 years ago 🙌
This is the best Giganotosaurus figure Mattel has produced, the amount of detail is incredible and I can't wait for my chance to add this apex predator to my Hammond Collection!!

I can 110% agree that Indominus Rex and Spino will be a great addition to Hammond Collection,and another great thing would be if they made sets such as paddocks,like a raptor paddock.
I think your review is one of my favorite HC Giga review video. Because I love how you posed giga wrists with supinated just like how it did in Dominion. Not posed with pronated wrists like some people.
As for snapping tails in, is there a way to take them out again when needed? Great review, by the way.
Seeing this neat review makes me remember that yrs ago, I was hoping that DinoScream would review the mainline Strike N Roar Giga figure. But then I saw his community post regarding it…
I have an unnecessary hatred towards that figure 😂. Had so many people offer to send me one for review. My biggest issue that solidified my hatred was the final battle pack that pay walled collectors $120 for Dominion Ellie. Just a crap move from Mattel.

Finally, a very well done Theropod figure from the Hammond collection series. I NEED IT. I love a Theropod with unnecessary torso joint and double jointed knees because they are a bit awkward.

Ok question, really about all the hammond line of figures and the giga is a great example. Is there a way to take off the tail?! Like I have a few figures and any time I have tried too take the tails off they just dont go. So like for the giga as an example, what if you moving things around or need to put him away, even back in the box. Can the tail come off or are you stuck with it in forever?

Omg that giga is gorgeous 😍;can't wait to see the spino,indoraptor and indominus rex in the line,really hope they go back and redo rexy because the first version was good but proportionally is wasn't 100%.

I'm pretty sure the tail does have a wire in it, and that the wire is inside the segments. The segments probably serve as the filler to keep the tail skin from folding and the wire is what keeps it bent to shape.

So glad I held off the crappy mainline one. Well worth the wait. Felt inevitable.
Now to wait for it to show up in stock again (and the Therizinosaurus). Hope we get either the Indominus or Spinosaurus next year. Would also like a retool of the T. rex with the refined teeth molds, improved glass eyes, and smaller feet.

It had a rough start, but the Hammond Collection is really evolving into an outstanding collector’s line.

The Hammond Collection Giganotosaurus will look great battling some of my custom G.I. Joe green shirt troopers as it will look terrifying when displayed battling them for my G.I. Joe Jurassic Park crossover display.

If only the rex had this quality. It deserves a re launch. However, since they nailed the giga so well, i have high hopes for a future spino and indominus rex of the same quality

It takes a while for Hammond collection figures to become available in the uk, for example the carnotaurus took a couple of months to become available on websites in the uk

Mattel has been doin great,but they should be ashamed of themselves for the distribution of these figures.
Preach 🙌!!! Made a instagram post yesterday discussing the distribution of HC. Stop with the weird Target in store exclusives. These need to be at every retailer. Mattel is leaving so much money on the table with this line. And don’t get me started on international distribution!! Every collector should have the opportunity to get the BEST Jurassic figures easily.

I will argue that the Amber Velociraptors are far better looking than the Hammond ones, plus I much prefer their larger size. Also the Amber Pteranodon is pretty awesome.

I have to disagree, I love my amber raptors. Glad they made them. I knew they wouldn't go bigger with that line likely, but was glad to get them for the 1/12 display
On the one hand, this is one of the best HC figures in terms of paint, proportions, and sculpt detail. On the other hand, I really don't like the JWD Giganotosaurus's design.
Technically, I think it would be pronounced neither Giga or Jiga......assuming its named after the word Gigantic, it should be pronounced "Jyga" with a Y sound like in Gigantic. That's my take anyway.

Oh yeah the other people are having issues with a giga source toy like loose joints messed up stuff and I kind of stuff like the joints on the gig loose and it snaps because I saw video talking about it like issues and as well with smudge of glue on the right of the gigaweird she put it off was gonna ruin that little gloomy thing on the right
How you made that scream it’s so funny. 50 that’s not expensive for a toy of a giga one chaos theory toy of T-Rex one more expensive than that $55 or pound whatever
When I saw the chaos theory T-Rex in Smiths cost £55 expensive that is way more expensive than all the toys and Smiths not really more expensive stuff like that Lego and big looking car what you ride on? I want to bike.
