- In this video we are going to change display & keyboard color on Quansheng K5 (6) two way radio. We are going to replace keyboard LEDs and disassemble the LCD (screen) and replace display LED. Then we are going to reassemble and test. In video shown are two colors, green, and red. This is part two video about quansheng K5. In part 1 we installed LUSYA FULL BAND HF mod. In part three we are going to take a look at CEC firmware for LUSYA.

Next replace flashlight with laser. Great work by the way, I wish my hands and eyes could still do it.
Quansheng K5 radios are amazing, I wonder when the manufacture will make the mods into a new model and charge 2 or 3x

Dude… this is what I was looking for. I have quite some soldering skills on smd items but I don’t have a microscope 🤷♂️
I would prefer blue leds on my K6 Like the K5 has 🙈
I left another link with more colors in the description. I wouldn't go blue, because we probably all had Baofeng UV-5R and we all know what blue display looks like. No bueno. Red looks good. Green looks good. But I would really like to try yellow-green, pink, ice blue. There is K5 on ali with clear body, it would be nice to modify it to have pink keyboard and ice blue LCD!!
