The Animatrix - A Detective Story fandub

heyooooo! something a bit different here :) spent about a year on and off recording for this and mixing it! hope everything is in order and the way it should be as im uploading it, as it kept giving me problems! it's a scene from the matrix anime, i really like the film noir storytelling and style of this one. i know it's a lot longer than what i usually do and the dialog is a bit sparse in places, but i hope you guys like it anyway :) thanks for watching as always!

What an incredible noir early cyberpunk story. Also, really Nice perfomances. Just if you could blend the voices better with the ambience would be just perfect. I think it'd be cool to see a remake of this video as 10 years have passed and its clear this was before we could do so much with whatever was on editing software like audacity, so yeah, would love to see it.

thank you Ralph! hah yeah, i'd like to think i could do a lot better with the mixing on this now. and i'm pretty sure i recorded this with a turtlebeach headset lol. i was actually under the impression this video was blocked for copyright, makes me happy to see it's still available for viewing! i appreciate your comment very much, and for sure, i'd love to do more animatrix stories in the future :)

This was great! Editing was ever so slightly off but nothing terribly noticeable. I've never seen any of the matrix anime, but then i'm one of the crazies who hasn't seen the matrix movies all the way through, just scenes here and there. But the style of this one was way cool! And your voice fit the detective so well! Well done Steamy!!

Though some of the editing can throw off some of your lines, sometimes being too loud for the scenes themselves, I bloody well loved this fandub my man. Really well done. It's not something I've seen before, and I've got to say your voice fit perfectly. Loved it!
