Ok speed after doing some more testing with warlock. Black grimoire is only good if you have a hero like lc or a roamer that you go with and have a lot of ganks, with 45 assisted kills you can go from level 12 to 25. But that's a lot.
The other facet scales based on warlocks health pool and mana regen. So the broken build i found was actually to have a chen in your group with satyr for mana regen 1.7, get a mana regen neutral, get refresher, octarine core, scythe of vyse, boots of travel, hammer, and glimmer cape. You can go for other items if you dont need glimmer cape, anything to boost mana regen. The golems then will burn at a staggering 202 damage per second, plus if you fatal bonds, golems, then upheaval, the golems attacks speed increases whilst standing in upheaval, and imps target heroes with fatal bonds primarily. So its pretty much gg.
Ive gone from 100mmr (coming straight out of my inital ranking) to herald 4 in 4 days of playing warlock. I have a 65% win rate. The only counters are axes and legion commanders. (In herald anyway)
Speeed, you should try the Solar Crest Abaddon, it is insane because of how easy it is to start with the Solar with no cast time and gigantic range to give tou time for other spells, and with how unpredictable it is for a hero to immediately get +1200 HP. The entire team is unkillable this way
every hero can be played as carry in my bracket you wont believe but i have seen my hard support ogre rushing battlefury second item dark seer making desolator without boots griefed me and once even dark willow rushing radiance as support again griefing me
dark willow with radiance was epic i asked him why did you make it then he replied to be tanky so that he could frontline for us and then he went 2-22-5 in 48 mins
Is your bracket herald?
You're overthinking it mate. Focus on things that you can control. At best you can ask someone nicely to do something, but even asking someone to pick another character is wrong, they might be clueless about how to play it. The only way again is to focus on what you can do. Let's say you wanted to play a character, but you see that your ally picked some char that will grief your lane for sure. Yes he's wrong, maybe, but it's up to you to adjust for situation and pick something that will have better chances of surviving 1v2 or having no problems with dragging waves behind towers, or jungling. Imagine being a veteran who had played thousands of games and there's 87% chance that your allies play way worse than you. They win because they rely on their own strengths first.

Warlock best atm. His heal is so strong now
His heal is the least broken thing right now. Upheaval imps are the most broken. Each imp does 130 damage aoe, it spawns 8 of them over 16 seconds.

Im herald using warlock to get 8 wins in a row. Pretty much fatal bonds, golems are not the broken thing here, the broken thing is aghs shard with upheaval.
Sven, tiny, legion commander, are very good against warlock. I ban lc and tiny in most games because of that.
Another kinda broken hero is hoodwink with treehugger facet. Extremely good in lanes, and generally feels like a better mirana.
