I promise you only need to know 1-2 short combos starting out. What matters is being able to land those combos which comes from playing matches

Is there a version with the inputs shown?
New to fighting games and wanna learn, but the ingame combo tutorial (even just the first one) doesn't really help.
It says I should hold left or right and then do a slash or heavy slash but like, nothing happens. But there are no further instructions and I also don't fully understand it from your tutorial. Does it have to do with the "Special" button, do you have to press that or?
Edit: I see that you have shown some, but that goes way too fast for me know what does what.

For dolphin, you should hold back for about half a second, then input forward and Slash or Heavy Slash at the same time. If this doesn't work, try pressing the attack button slightly after you input forward. You don't need to use the special button. It's kinda weird but I'm sure you can do it! I really used to struggle with these inputs when I was new

@@ShuritFGC Ok, I was now able to do all the combo trials!!!!!
Can pull of most combos 50% of the time now, though just in training mode.
Gonna play more with friends and learn to use the combos :D
