I think the style of mirror is so ornate and not a lot of people decorate in that style any longer. They maybe did not know what a valuable piece they had.

I’m 65 and can’t ignore anything embroidered, peasant tops, bell bottoms, vintage decor, ultra feminine clothing, or heating pads at thrift stores! That mirror was gorgeous and I wanted a fringed, leather coat in the 70's, dad couldn't afford it, same when my sister wanted white go-go boots, oh the disappointments of growing up. Selena in the magical, technicolor coat. Also loved your mom's black top with silver embroidery.👍🌺

When I was 16 back in the early 70's, my mom took me to Hollywood to have a custom jacket with the fringe made. My best friend had one in blue, but they had longer fringe, mine cost 200.00 back in the day. I think I still have it lol. I've watched this video twice, I love your videos so much !!!! Enjoy the time with your mom. I miss being able to do these types of things with my mother. She is now in a wheelchair and makes it harder to be able to hit garage sales, estate sales and flea markets. We use to love to do them all.
