    Found this on the polyend discord, thanks so much for making this! This is very helpful for people new to music production in general no just with the tracker. It would be awesome to have some more of these in other styles of music. Boom bap!!

    The polyend tracker seems like a very good beginners device for techno music.

      Trackers are really good for a variety of sequenced music. They are heavily used for breakbeats. But they can do so much more

      Cheers Matt, I have a few already and more videos to come about genre specific tracker tutorials. I already have a series for my full pipeline with the polyend tracker. check my main page.

    Dope result!
    I never use the LFO rate FX (Filter LFO), but it seems to be so powerful, basically creating multiple sound scapes from a single sample / instrument 🧡

      Automation is so important to music production, its not front and centre on the Polyend Tracker, however there are some old school tricks to do it.

  • @jackdrizzleshizzle4389

    Thank you so much for this!!! You really inspire me. It reminds me of the time I used Fasttracker 2.09 back in 96/97 when I was as fast as you banging track after track. I'm really have to use the Polyend Tracker more because I'm aiming for that muscle memory that you have. I really like the music you're making. Keep up the good work!!

    dope, love this, drum n bass is similar to jungle style of song construction, i prefer to work with drum breaks over using a drum kit, you get some cool artifacts from chopping and slicing drum loops, but LFO fx is a game changer because i wasnt sure how i would use it but now i kinda wanna try to utilize it on a track im working on, do you plan on doing any videos on slicing drum loops and way to write in that kind of style? potentially, do you have any plans on doing any midi tutorials? tracker is very capable and some tips would be great as i have a poly synth i really wanna use with it but not so sure about the midi(im very new to electronic music and midi), i just like the style of your videos and how you explain stuff, you take your time and it really starts to sink in for me, more so your videos that many others so hopefully you can do a midi style video soon, but thanks a lot for the videos so far tho, ive been learning a bunch 🙂

      Cheers Brainbox, I want to make content that anyone to be able to use. The tracker tips video series is a generic view of the tracker workflow, this series will cover the cool things that help with specific genres. some following videos
      - There is a old school jungle video in the works along side this one, and will be covering slicing and getting that tasty amiga crunch.
      - Polyend Tracker Automation. This has been a big part of my exploration of the firmware and going to show how to add invisible hands to your project aka that LFO rate trick
      - There is a General Midi one in there too and going to program a Roland sound canvas. Its like the final boss of midi programming but show some cool ways to get the sound back through the Polyend Tracker.
      I have a super fun spreadsheet of all my gear and music styles so expect to see a variety of content and ideas. Working full time limits my recording time, however its good to see these videos are helping a lot of people out.

    Hi really nice video, I don’t understand how many steps are you working on..on the video is not very clear the numbers after 09

    • @Aisjam
      @Aisjam  Před rokem +2

      Thank you. For the numbers, I usually work in Hexadecimal as its how my brain works with trackers, it counts to 16 instead of 10. so 09 is still 9, however 0A to 0F is 10 to 16. Also I start at 0 on the pattern so 0F is 15 then it raps around to 10 which is 16. So when I am working on a pattern, the left number is the bar and the right number is the beat, so 38 is the 4th bar and the 3rd beat in a 4/4 timing (gotta add +1 as you start from 0).
