    Outstanding! Just listened to it at 4 o'clock in the morning in the dark and it scared the bejesus out of me! Thanks so much for posting. It brings back memories of when I was 10 to 18 years old and I used to listen to these episodes with my father.

    In Carl Jung's personality theory, the shadow is the part of the individual personality that the ego denies and doesn't recognize. If it becomes integrated into consciousness it becomes an ally. If it remains unconscious it can't be controlled and it can become an enemy and get you into trouble - your own personal Mr Hyde, doing what you unconsciously want to do, unrestrained by the usual limits of morality and civilization.

    • @dontaylor7315
      @dontaylor7315 Před rokem

      PS - Of course the "shadow" in the Jungian sense isn't a literal shadow. It's just the part of the person that's in the dark (meaning the ego can't/won't see it).

      It's weird that if there are cops in an episode at least one of them has to be Irish and have a heavy accent. Since Himan Brown was the guy behind the series I figure it's him making that call...but I wonder why.

    How hard is it to say" he's working on an experiment and he might not make it through it"?! You don't have to say it's top-secret you don't have to say what it's about it's not rocket science😅 it would have saved a lot of back-and-forth aggravation 😅

    clever fantasy - except for the moralizing - ie there are some things we shouldn't try to understand or tamper with - but they don't offer a clue as to identifying them - in fact - the "science" part in this story was outrageously unscientific - it just provided the motive for the story - overall the plot was predictable - but it was fleshed out with good twists and sensible dialog - acting was competent - altho why did they have to have another "irish" cop
