    Judging by the fact that Egypt blocked the straits of Tiran, expelled UN peacekeepers, aligned with the other Arab nations, and moved its troops to Israel's borders and have other Arab nations do the same, I think its pretty clear that the first of the two scenarios is more likely.

    In fairness, Jordan and Egypt have both since signed Peace and trade agreements with Israel, while Egypt actually encouraged Jordan to recognize Israel fairly recently. 3:50 Gaza isn't under direct Israeli occupation since 2005 when Israeli forces and civilians withdrew and gave the strip to the PLO which lost it to Hamas. Israel and Egypt continue a joint blockade of the strip to prevent the smuggle of weapons and ammunition to the strip and therefore also keep control over its air space.

      To be fair, if the Egyptians were fighting to preserve peace, happiness and freedom, they would have fared much better. Men at arms are exponentially more effective the more noble their motivations. REAL Egyptians are strong people too and deserve their freedom from the Empire of Islam.
      I wish Egypt, Numidia, Persia, Parthia, Palmyra, Mauritania, Assyria et al were all still distinct cultures with their own histories and customs and had never been consumed by Arabia and Islam.
      Especially Numidia, their native women were so incredibly beautiful (and still are somewhat, despite extensive genetic Arabization).

      Dear 2 standards "asdf jkl" ; Muslim's GREAT problem is what they call "GREAT" = JIHAD.
      For example: You preach that an Ottoman Killaphate would be More "Peaceful", but... At the same time you preach about muslims "Protecting and Fighting" for a "Peaceful Killaphate" reached by VIOLENCE and Kept by MORE VIOLENCE = 14 Centuries of Endless JIHAD under Arabian Sharia Law...
      A religion of Eternal Civil WAR, more Political than religious, and more MILITARY than peaceful...
      OH! Then Muslims expect Civilization to Forcely Accept "SUBMISSION" to their Arabian Political Military SYSTEM that "fights" against their own neighbor, the Islamic State, because every muslim wants to be the Next Worldwide King... COVETRY AND DECEPTION DETECTED!
      ISLAM IS IN IN ENDLESS WAR AGAINST ISLAM, MUSLIM AGAINST MUSLIM, BASED ON THE SAME BOOK AND INTERPRETATION, since early days of mohammad. It didnt brought Peace then, it would not bring Peace NOW, nor later.
      NO THANKS, CIVILIZATION REJECTS AND SHALL NEUTRALIZE A DANGEROUS MILITHIA THAT IS CAMOUFLAGED AS RELIGION.

      Dear pro JIHAD "asdf jkl" ; It doesnt matter how peacefuly you paint "All Forms of JIHAD", muslims knows well its VIOLENT meaning, and history verify its 14 Centuries of Military Brutality;
      Countries occupied by JIHAD persecutes other beliefs by obeying their idolized prophet, and punishing ExMuslims by observing BRUTAL Sharia Law;
      In Arabia, Shia muslims are told not to practice their islamic belief publicly; and their Shiite prophets are killed!
      It doesnt matter how beautiful your ancestors talk about JIHAD, reality cannot be hidden.
      * While The Teachings of JESUS is leading Muslims into a Happier Life, obviously secretly... Even if you deny that SHARIA LAW PENALIZE EXMUSLIMS BY DEATH...

      For the record I am 3/4 Saphardi, of which half are from Muslim countries, of which one side was forcibly kicked and another left because of Muslim discrimination. Only one side of my family accually wanted to go to Israel.
      Khazarian DNA makes up 0-14% of Ashkenazi DNA. Most of the Ashkenazi Jews are from Spain. Poland was the only Christian State that allowed Jews to settle after the Spannish Diaspora and this explanes why there were 3 million Jews in Poland in 1938.

You can't come and say Israel captured these areas "so" they refused to recognize Israel - the refusal to recognize was even before the capture, it wasn't a result of it. The consequent peace deal made shows that by giving the Sinai it was possible to bargain for recognition (such deal only working because the Egyptians regained honor of getting their territory back).

      Dmitri Kozlowsky yeah but lets say if the refugees in europe form thier own nation, do you think the europeans will be ok with that? no right. then the first war would make sense.
      The second war, Isreal attacked a jordanian held village but failed. USSR informed the arabs that isreal was massing its troops, in response the arabs prede for a ground war. And then egypt blockaded the strait ot tiran, which is really tiny, and would be the same as egypt someones ships go through thier canal.
      And because of this Isreal send its entire airforce to destroy the arab airforces on ground which was succesful. and took over a bit of land.

    Personally, I don't think Israel should have given up the Sinai. First off, it gave them oil rigs, which would've made Israel richer, considering its lack of natural resources to export anyways. And secondly, since the Sinai basically doubles Israel in size, citizens would feel more confident and less cramped, as they wouldn't be "stuck" in such a small area that Israel is. I guess peace is what Israel wanted though, so be it.

    the funny thing is in Egypt we are taught that we won the war and took back seni after crushing the israils we then we proposed the peace treaty that is why we got the noble peace prize, we acknowledged them as a nation as they possessed what most nations have a government and an army.

    What no one really talks about is that before WWII, Arabs, Jews, and Christians all lived in that area in relative peace. Each acknowledging Jerusalem as a holy city and sharing it. It wasn't until the UK came in and carved up the area into Jewish and Arab territories that all these skirmishes began to happen. The UK initially said they would help prevent these battles, however once they got what they wanted they left the area leaving the population to fend for itself. It's rather convenient for the UK that no one bothers to talk about that since everyone is so focused on whether the Jews or Arabs own the land.

    • @DoomFinger511
      @DoomFinger511 Před 5 lety

      @LookingIntoTheAbyss All of that happened AFTER WWII and the UK dividing up Jerusalem. It would be on topic if you pointed out some Arab vs Jewish event that happened BEFORE that time period. Describing these (post WWII) events further proves the chaos created by Britain's meddling for selfish gain.

      no, egypt was at war in Yemen (north yemen civil war 1962-1968) against saudi arabia, nasser could not win the war so the six day war was a good escape for nasser, because then nasser could be friends again with saudi arabia and get support from them for the war against israel and clear his name because of the failed war in Yemen. Wars against israel are for the most part because of domestic political problems in arab countries.
