important to notice, that the only emotions mentioned expressis verbis in this story are greed and avarice. the hunters, the king, the jewellers and, last but not least, polarian, the glacier dont care for anything else. there is no altruism, no friendship, nothing. therefore, it can be said, that smith paints the picture of a world, dying the cold death delivered by avarice and greed. great story by a great writer
Your reading is actually great, but you’ve got to let up on the vocal fry. It doesn’t make the voice sound lower or more menacing, it just makes it difficult to hear. The timbre is more pillow talk than horror reading. But the emotive quality, tempo, are enunciation are all great.

Thanks for the up-load! I am a student of Theosophy and the occult lore ,- so you can see why these stories intrigue me.!!
Thanks. Hopefully constructive feedback: in the future, consider avoiding mic pops and related audio issues.

@@theleninistplaysgames1682 could you please take The Faceless God off of private? I tried to listen to it again and couldn't. Thanks.
Oooo.... not good reading. Sounds like he's gargling razorblades as he reads.
