I just opened CZcams and there was this channel and story apparently waiting for me. I am a Lovecraft lover so I got to listening, pausing halfway to subscribe, then back to the story where I had a good laugh at the thought of 2 adult males shrieking and leaping down the stairs🤣🤣. Really!
One of my favorite stories. I hope you have some more like this, and the last one from Derleth. The Return of Hastur was a great story too. Please don't let us wait so long for the next story, I don't think you realize how many people listen to these great old pulp stories. thanks anyway...
WOW! A great reading, of this super FINE and I think highly underrated Fantasy writer. As a kid, I read almost everything R.E.H. wrote. The Conan stories, in particular, I read many times. I love them. Now, even decades later, I find them most refreshing "Darkly" - Too Bad, Sadly He died so early - I can only guess at what fantastic tales He might have given us had he lived a long prosperous life. Robert Howard~ Requiasat In Pace.
this gentleman that read the story did such a wonderful job the way he expressed his words he most definitely showed emotion in all of the words he pronunciated. I most certainly hope the one that uploaded this story will certainly put more up of what this man has created in audio Adventure. A grand thank you, to the reader and to the people uploading this.
R. Howard died in the 30's of suicide. IMO some of the best Fantasy was written between 1890- 1940... But I may stand corrected if I were to discover otherwise...So far not yet. I do agree, that this guy reading is excellent.
This guy is a very good reader.
Robertson Dean. Great narrator. Great story.

The narrator is Robertson Dean.
The reader sounds like Kelsey Grammer. This is not a bad thing...

so many lovecraft references is making my head explode with nerdgasm
Howard was a contemporary of Lovecraft, so no surprise.
