The KTM 1090, 1190 and 1290 are all great bikes, this ride review will shed some light on why I think the 1090 is the greatest bike of all time...... well its more just a ride review of the KTM 1090 Adventure R, and after owning all three bikes the 1090 comes out on top for me! - Zábava
Awesome video! I bought mine back in December 2020. She was a garage queen with only 1200 miles and every add on imaginable. She is the best motorcycle I have ever ridden. The sound of the v-twin Akropovic is incredible. The handling is perfect, the power is perfect and she is beautiful. I smile the entire time I ride her. Priceless!

I just got my 1090 adv r. LOVE IT. New rider so trying to be responsible and take it easy, got lots to learn and hopefully years of fun to come.

Looks like it comes off the front wheel like an old school two stroke mx bike. Crazy.
Also appears to be very controllable. Previous owner says it’s an easy bike to ride and will miss it.
Could be difficult to find a better bike after this one😊

Just got mine 2017 a few weeks ago, still finding out the setting TC and driving mode. But I get your feeling 👍

Ride mode = sport, TC = off, ABS = off road. That is the E-ticket ride!

Would you recommend the R version even if I would be doin mostly road riding? I think it looks slightly better with the spoked wheels aswell
Personally for mostly street use I would pick a 2017 or newer 1290 super adventure S,
For street use you get a bit more for your money with that bike, and for street use the electronics are a nice addition with no real threat of breaking anything.
Electronic suspension is ok, but the Cruze control and TFT display for the street is really nice to have.
The S is still quite capable off road, so you are still in good hands if you decide to venture off

Not sure I understand your question.
The seat is the OEM KTM seat for the 1090, other seats that fit are the KTM 1290, and 1190 adventure R and S model seats including the comfort seat line.
