It sounds weird but I like the circulation coins...not cos they are cheap but I like to know they had a life...and I started out with a few encapsulated coins but liked to see the scratches and aging from real and and not antiqued...maybe I'm the weird one..lol.

One difference in the 1843 is that it had 7 strings as opposed to 6 in the 1838.I believe there were some overdate varieties as well
Those early proofs are just stunning. I'm particularly taken by the jubilee head Victoria, such detail in the hair and the gown, never really been a fan of the tiny crown until I've seen it as a proof.

Vann Wood because the revenue from advertisers helps to support the channel a little bit and if on a long video there are more ads then the revenue is slightly more.
