It is 6m (19ft 6") diameter timber framed dome with a horticultural polythene cover, I would allow about two weeks to build this from scratch - Jak na to + styl
Looks great. Much better when the door side panels are inside rather than outside.
Just purchased the plans and can't wait to get started!
I use polythene repair tape across the top of the window to form a flashing which works fine.
excellent job on ur presentations...I learned a lot from u in such a short time
Love your videos, well done!
Do you know a good brand of auto-openers for the window you show in the video. Great work :-) Just ordered the plans!
Great Job !
Great video! Thanks for sharing!!!
Hey Paul, we built a GD 27 with your plans using ripped 2 by 4 material, worked out great! I was thinking of sheathing the inside of the dome with plywood to make a climbing wall. Do you think these domes could hold weight being pulled from the inside?
Thanks, Alex Rich
What length 2x4 worked best for you?
Sorry about that, the camera lens is scratched, I've tried polishing it out but I think I made it worse, think I need a new camera.
Do you get any water leaking in from the windows?
How do you fix it on the ground?
Hi Paul, nice vid.
What foil are u using there ?
Best regards
It's Horticultural polythene 5 layer UV stable. I get it from XL horticulture
Older video, but it sure looks nice.
Looking to build a dome about 40 feet in diameter or so. I need a door on each end about 12' wide and 13'6" tall minimum. Is there a better way I can contact you?
Did you build your 40' dome yet?
Genial
Hey Paul, If I placed a 500 gallon tank in the center of the dome which size would I need to be able to work my garden. I was looking at Aquaponics therefore I would need about 500 gallons worth of grow beds. Once I get the size I will place an order. Thanks,
Nick Rayl The GD27 would work well for something around 500 gallon but I would also look at how much produce you want to grow, I would recommend building as big as you can because I've never heard anyone say They should have built a smaller dome, but I hear all the time from folk who wish they built a bigger one.
Paul Roinson So more like the GD62 the 29 1/2' dome? That could be build with the 2x3 wood here in USA? How long does the wood need to be, can you get a triangle out of an 8' length or not?
Hi it's DAVID !!
Clean your lens
