One of my most requested videos of all time revolved around the question of me having more than just one pair of boxing gloves within my gym bag and I was asked why that was. I love variety! But I also have a deeper purpose as to why I do this. People often ask the question of what a training glove is compared to a bag or sparring glove and here is why in my opinion, you may want to have 2-3 boxing gloves in your bag at all times. - Sport

There are better one’s but I say this from experience that they are durable as FUCK and I’ve had them for a year and it still is almost perfectly new. But the inside lining is kinda loose. Price is 100$ au (so like 70 or 80$ us). Other than that rival is very durable and relatively comfortable if you have more money I would recommend rival

There is a sleek glove with certain padding technology that makes the glove soft outside to spar but with a dense compression padding which is like a small dense compressed padding somewhere in the 4 layer for the heavy bag. Called Hitnmove All Day gloves, Precision Striking Channel mentioned it. Company is specialized in making 1 glove that you can spar, and can not ruin on the bag
Many sparring gloves are harder than bag gloves when new but the dense foam soon softens up when used, the 12 oz bag gloves I brought were very soft compared to my 16oz sparring gloves when I purchased them.

This is a must watch video for all beginners. I had body worked with others who wore 12 oz bag gloves...I was so mad I also killed them.
This old guy in our gym uses the same old title gloves for all his work. I can tell the padding is so compacted he’s down to the knuckles.

Rival has the rb 50 and rb 11 both at bag gloves I'm sure they have more but even around the publish date of this video they had those two
Huh I thought you couldn't use Cleto Reyes for sparring. To me the latex is too dense, I use it exclusively on the bag. I have Hayabusa T3 for sparring.

Hey man, I'm new to boxing and im european so i dont have money for high end gloves or more than a pair at the moment, so my friend recomended i buy the gorilla wear mosby gloves they say that they are for training and multi purpose and i want to use them for sparing and on the heavy bag should i get them?

Should I be using a Different pair of gloves. I don't really have alot of money. But I Have a pair of relatively new 16oz gloves. I use them for my bagwork. the nearest boxing gym is 40 minutes away and the only ones for adults are pretty expensive lately. Im using hayabusa s4's. The issue I'm having is my Knuckles are getting sore after a Few minutes. Also If i want to amauter box should I just not use them on the bag then. I bought these to replace some Really dense padded knuckle Bag gloves from everlast it only padded the fist but I basiclly obliterated the Dense foam after 2 months of using it 3 times a week. Im assuming since I have Alot of power I should stick to Gloves specifically designed for bag to protect my hands better right?

Been boxing for about a year now and was using the Ringside Apex gloves for everything. Loved them but the foam is ripping around the fingers. I want to make them my training gloves and purchase a new glove for sparring specifically. Is this a good idea and if so, what glove under $200 do you recommend for sparring specifically?

Bohnen mit zwiebeln winning are meant to have lots of cushion on your hands for power punching and protection

I go to a Muay Thai gym that has boxing classes on other days. All I have is a 12 oz Twins Special that I use for pad work, mits, and bagwork. Then for sparring I also use a Twins Special 16 oz.
Should I be investing in another pair of separate gloves?

May I ask a question? My coach said the same thing about wasting a great pair of gloves by hitting the bags (MS 400 winning gloves) and told me to get a new cheaper pair of boxing gloves to hit the bags and keep the winning gloves for the mitts+sparring. Would you recommend buying 12 oz Reyes for punching bags or any other suggestions?

@@karimgonzalez9551yes I would use cletos for bag work and padwork the padding is in my opinion far too firm and they use latex padding so it has the snap back so not a lot of power absorption also the glove knuckle area is shaped more in a angled way as opposed to a rounder (pillow) type glove like a winning so it’s a smaller surface area which means the power is gonna be more focused as opposed to spread out but the cletos are wonderful gloves for feedback meaning if you mess up you’ll know so you can correct your form

If you spar and bag , then use a sparring glove AND a bag glove. If you don’t spar but work the bag, then you can just use a sparring glove. If you fight, spar and bag then get 3 separate gloves for all three. A training glove is ALL MARKETING.
Anyone know good all round training gloves for less then about £130? I’m looking for something for Christmas and I don’t wanna choose something that’s not worth it and ends up being a waste
How do you break in a sparring glove without bringing it brand new to sparring?
Just use it for bag for a while, and after you feel like the boxing gloves are softening up then just use it for sparring.
What would you say about Hayabusa T3 for a beginner boxer as an all around glove? would you recommend a 12 oz or a 16 oz (5"10 guy 155 lbs)?

I weigh about 124lbs (56kg) and I have 14oz gloves that I use for sparring and bagwork/training (again the budget factor). I also have some 10oz Leone gloves that I started with. Im about 5'9ish 145lbs and I use 14oz gloves mostly but I do have a pair of 8oz rival gloves,14oz reyes,16,18,20oz everlast gloves and a 16oz pair of Fly gloves. If you want to give my channel a subscribe Im going to be making a video ranking different gloves i own at different price points comparing and contrasting them.
but to make things short and efficient for you. The cleto reyes gloves are really good. They do take a long time to break in, It took me about 5 or so months to break them in before they were good to spar in. The more broken in your cleto reyes get, the better they feel. On the bag I prefer to use a more cushioned glove but for sparring the cleto reyes is my personal favorite. They have a very satisfying pop when they hit the pads and even more satisfying one in sparring.

@@andromeda000 to speak on the durability of them. A friend of mine got his first pair of reyes at 14, made the U.S olympic team at 19 and finally at 23 decided to stop using them only because he wanted a pair of winning gloves but his Cleto Reyes gloves are still in working condition.

You absolutely could! Actually just had a discussion with Csquared about this. Does Rival want you to only use it for sparring? Yes. Do they also want you to buy two separate gloves? Yes to that too. But MULTIPLE people I've met use them for bag work and sparring. The foam might flatten slightly but Rival makes some of the best gear out there, they're built to last forever

To be honest i want a harder Glove for sparring, i am sparring with a Guy stronger and waaay mor experianced then i am, and he is a Slugger(i am a outside Boxer) i need everything that helps me to keep him at bay😅
