The voice actor admitted to him speaking German, they used these voice lines for the first two Mario party games and as a result recorded a few extra lines as the English audience wouldn’t understand German, these lines were “offensive” and thus the German lines were brought back (Mario party lines were slower and had lower pitch)
The removed lines are now used for shitposts titled “Wario fucking dies”
BTW, small correction. The japanese voices used for Luigi, Toad, Wario and Peach would eventually be used in the international versions of Mario Party 1, 2 and Mario Kart Super Circuit.

You forgot to show that the ads shown at the edges of the tracks were censored. In the Japanese version, the signs Mario Star, Luigi's, Yoshi, Koopa Air and 64 were displayed as:
Marioro (Marlboro cigarettes)
Luigip (Agip gasoline)
Yoshi1 (Mobil1 oil)
Koopa Air (resembled the Goodyear Tires logo, with the yellow text against a blue background)
64 (76 gas station)
During the Selection Screen, the announcer on the JP Version sounds like the person that voiced the Announcer on Mario Kart Arcade GP

Its because some Mario games were released in western territories with the original voice acting, such as Mario Kart Advance and Mario Party 1 and 2.
Yes, a lot of the Japanese version MK64 voice clips were used in the North American version of Super Circuit. I grew up hearing those, mostly.

USA Versioon FTW. All the voices are better in that version (IMO) , specially Peach and Luigi , they sound way more composed and less forced high pitched. I believe Leslie Swan tried to do decently since she doesn't really have a Barbie voice , and even gave Peach her now trademark ''Peachy!'' quote , props to her.
Toad sounds like an actual child in the Japanese version.

I like the Japanese Peach & Toad better, but I prefer the English Luigi & Wario. Japanese Wario sounds cool, but English has a more fitting personality, conniving. Japanese Luigi just sounds plain awful and the English Peach, whether intended or not, sounds like a drag-queen as in a male actor imitating a female voice instead of genuine female.

The random things Toad says makes a lot more sense to me now. It was a lot more natural for the Japanese version, and the American version just kinda failed to make it sound not awkward...

Why the heck they had to change Toad's voice in the US version? Kinopio already speaks English, his voice is far less irritating, and he sounds like a character I'd play as. Not to mention "Kinopio" is even a better name.

I love both of wario's voices, they're both great! For Luigi, the Japanese one has grown on me, but I prefer the u.s version most. Toad and Peach, u.s versions.
So basically Mario and Yoshi are the only characters to never have changes.
I was expecting to see the differences on the sponsors boards on the side of some tracks too.

Mau Pr No, he says so ein mist. The voice actor had actually confirmed this. And that they went and recorded the lines for Miyamoto and Tezuka and they approved of Wario being German.
The announcer voice in JP is much more arcadey sounding right down to the delay + reverb of the time, but lol I think the US version using marios voice is just more in place

It's intesresting that in the US & in the European version,Charles Martinet did the voice off and also Mario,Luigi & Wario while in the Japanese Charles Martinet only voiced Mario because the children were shouting Mario Kart on the title screen.There's also a different voice off,a different name for Toad,Luigi was voice by Julien Bardakoff & Wario was voice by Thomas Spindler. :D

Check him (Martinet) on Mario wiki under "Mario Character Roles"and on Wikipedia under "Video games", and check Donkey Kong's wikipedia under "Voiced by (English)"
They pretty much made Toad's US voice in this game into Daisy's voice once she joined mario kart. I guess that's why they may have changed it. It's much less gravely in this version than later ones too for toad.
