- In this easy cooking video, I make some baked chicken and rice in my toaster oven. The ingredients to my easy chicken and rice recipe are about 1 lb of chicken, 1 22.6 oz can of Cream of Mushroom Soup, 1 cup of jasmine rice, and 1 cup of water. I seasoned the chicken with salt, and Johnny's Seasoned Pepper. Then cooked it in a 450 degree F oven for 50 minutes. At the end, I sprinkled on some shredded cheese, and put it back into the oven until the cheese melted.

You are the reason that I bought a toaster oven. I had to buy my Johnny's seasoning off of Amazon since they don't sell it any place that I know of here in the east. Hey, who needs Stouffer's, amirite?
Nice! I'm glad the videos are helpful!

Me too. My microwave takes up too much space in my kitchenette. I live in a studio. I'm thinking a toaster oven would save space and needs who needs a microwave anyway.

Thank you!
Looks really good! I enjoy all of ur recipes, do you ever not like one you make? Hi Annie
Thanks! I usually don't cook things that I don't personally like.
Hi. Made this tonight and it was great. Just had a little rice stick. Do ypuvstir it while it's cooking? I cooked with oil, but still had a little sticking. My son scrapped the skillet@
I didn't stir it.
I see your oven is a Black & Decker. It looks like it holds full sized pans. What model is it?
This is the oven I have. amzn.to/307xIfW
@@TosTinManEasyCooking oh that's a nice one!
Going to take a shot at this - 450 seems a bit excessive. Would 375-400 be acceptable? Thanks.
It should work but it might take a little longer.
@@TosTinManEasyCooking Just cooked it at 400 - yep, took another 15 minutes, but was really good. Did basmati on one end and jasmine on the other - neat to do a side-by-side comparison in the same dish. Thanks for the suggestion and channel.
NOTE: I'll do it at 450 next time to see if a difference is noticeable.
Looks so good. What is the name of your intro song?
Thanks! It's called Tonto.
@@TosTinManEasyCooking thank you
If you want to use long grain rice and find out it's still a bit crunchy, I soak my rice prior for 30 minutes cold water and makes it restaurant tender.
Thanks for the tip!
Holy crap I’ve never paid more than $2.50 a lb for boneless skinless chicken. Dude look for it on sale. This week is only $1.49 lb and I only ever buy Tyson barbecue the breast or brown first
Jasmine rice isn't a brand. That's the name of the rice type.
Have you ever used instant rice in this recipe?
I don't think I have.
Why did you not tell us the ingredients of the soup? You always tells us what's in the pepper.

Thanks!
I have heard that cooking with iron pans is bad for men. Something about the added iron and heart attacks. Look into it.
