Watching this, reminds me of my grandfather who passed exactly 1 year ago, on this day. He was from the Narvik area and his father and him were in the resistance during the war. He was my childhood hero, a fantastic person.

My Dad he was in World War II..After World War 1 Germany was completely bankrupt so who do you think funded this war and who built the tanks and vehicles for the Nazis- "Henry Ford" he even got a Nazi metal..Keep going both sides of the war was funded through the United States and Roosevelt decided to turn a blind eye on what was going on because War equals money..💰The company for example Remington made a fortune off of World War II..More- who worked side by side with "Adolf Hitler" to power "Prescott Bush"..It's ashamed how they don't teach you the real truth in schools or life about Wars..Why is all the Nazi gold buried in England & still has the Nazi insignia and eagle & all the numbers on it..What's the real truth about the Queen's Husband and the Queen as far as the real Nazi name..Bush said when he went back to the United States to become a congressman he said that the Nazis won the War..How many of them came back to the United States to control NASA Bell Helicopter for the Vietnam War..Dr. Walter Dornberger did Adolf Hitler and his wife Escape Germany before the fall of Germany absolutely..Every War has a lie behind it to think how many men and women died to make the "Warmongers" Richer..Sad to find out the truth later in life..Why did Hitler go after Poland first because of their Coal Supply..More- if you want to know about the family tree you will see a picture with "Merkel" and Adolf Hitler together she was about 10 years old in the picture..She eventually had three daughters the one daughter married a man named Stanley Durham he was related to the Bush family after they separated his white wife met a man in Kenya named Obama she had a baby with him and moved to Hawaii and married "Lulu Santoro"= "Barry Santoro" so if you like the family tree thing you will find out that Barack Obama is Adolf Hitler's grand-son..Yep-Yep 😮..

What an amazing place in such a beautiful area. I can only imagine how big that tunnel system and Bunker was. The torpedo bunker was massive by the looks of the outside. Great site! Until an earlier video of yours I had no idea that these torpedo bunkers existed. Makes sense, but I didn't know about them until I discovered your channel. Too bad that so much has been sealed off. That second one has seen some pretty recent use. I couldn't help but think it would make a cool cabin -you have fishing right there, a place to tie a boat, and you're away from people.

That was interesting the location and there the thought was boats and ships would come trough and they had to protect the area , but what is more interesting is your up in the mountains and it’s mid December and there not a bunch of snow and there still green grass I live n the mountains of n California at 3500 ft elevation we have got snow only rain hear and there
I was there too I found "Prescott Bush's" wallet and ID inside there..I guess he was in a hurry to get back to the United States and become a United States congressman..At the end of the War...👍

Nice find HH. Always nis as you plow through the brush and find a "J" pipe, can only mean ventilation. It is a shame the German bunker is closed, leads one to think parts are still there even if broken. The post war was not as elegant looking. Another great video my friend with beautiful scenery bunkers and sunshine, Water looked cold but clear. Stay safe and well out there both of you.

Such a beautiful, but strategic, location. It's a shame that the old German torpedo bunker, and tunnel system, is sealed off. But, seeing inside the Post War one gives you a good idea of what might be hidden away in the old one. I love the tool imprints on the walls. They remind us that these places weren't just empty shells, but living places full of voices, noises, and all sorts of human activity. It still amazes to think how much effort the Germans put into building all these out of the way, defensive sites, throughout the length of the Atlantic Wall. It is just mind boggling to think of the work, and materials, that was involved in building all of these structures. Thank you both for sharing this interesting hidden location with us, Cheers to you all!

The grease looks very similar to the type of lubricant used on a semi truck fifth wheel . A type of grease that remains stable during very cold and hot weather.

Such a beautiful place for a torpedo bunker. Too bad it has been sealed up. I remember a previous video you made of a torpedo bunker at another location. They are quite impressive! Thanks for taking us to the location and explaining all the defensive locations the Germans built. That postwar building looked more like a house than another torpedo launching position! Seems like an expensive undertaking to build this "house" launching area! The interior was not what I expected, it looked more like a workshop than I would have thought it might be. Yes theses sites a so heavy duty built and with such special details and features to study and learn from. The second building is heavily rebuilt but still we could see some original features in there. Loved it and thanks Donald :)

Absolutely gorgeous scenery. Those mountains are breathtaking. It did look like they replaced that one small German bunker with a post-war bunker. The post-war bunkers look like crap compared to the original German structures. They used quality materials and workmanship so it would be very expensive to duplicate. So much more to discover there. Thanks HH & EE. ❤

What makes you believe there were hundreds and hundreds of torpedoes stored in there? One torpedo was 7meter long and weighed close to 2 tons. Batteries like this could hold 8-20 torpedoes. Great video though 🙏 !
A torpedo is made of of several pieces and were often stored as such. Thanks for watching.

Great site. So glad you were able to get into the post war torpedo firing station. Man, so want to see the inside of the WWII German one. Really curious to see if they had small gauge rail tracks to take the torpedoes from the entrance all the way to the launch site through the tunnel. Looking forward to seeing what else you're going to show us at the site, especially hoping to see the artillery emplacements.

Pretty cool to see these as it is not something you see in documentaries. The history we are taught is very watered down. But thanks to the history hunter family we are able to see these locations. Great discoveries and let's hope that you and EE can get into one of the German torpedo bunkers. Magnet fishing in this area could also be interesting - you might find a discarded torpedo! Best wishes to both of you!

I am still amazed at how many of these locations you can find. Then I look at the map of the Atlantic Wall and remember the Germans controlled from the Atlantic Wall all the way to the Eastern Front. I hate to see these locations sealed off but no telling what vandals would do to them. From where the pipe was at, to where the torpedo launch bunker was, the underground structure had to be huge. I kept thinking this would be a good place to metal detect and use the FiFish around the torpedo launch bunkers. Another great location you have shown us.

I done my training for the royal navy 40 years ago in a similar torpedo station on the south coast of uk. Where the Brennan torpedo was developed. All hush hush stuff back then.

Once again, an ideal position for a German defensive system. Imagine the time and effort involved in the construction of all those bunkers and other edifices. Would never have guessed that there was a huge torpedo battery there. Makes sense. Do be careful climbing down those cliffs. Thanks you for taking us inside. It did look like it might have been larger orginally. It would have been a real experience to see the German one. Thank you for the photo. Was that original drawings on the wall? Must have brought back memories sice you were a sub sonar operator. You know the inner workings and all that is involved. You are so entertaining when you trip over your words, HH, LOL. So stupid that they wasted so much concrete to seal up history. I'm glad to see someone destroy a wall to let others in and enjoy. Your videos have inspired me to always bring a chisel and a sledgehammer. History WILL NOT be sealed forever.

Looks like the road tunnel system is still partially in use, it appears all the ventalation pipes are still installed, and they appear to be wired to modern substations, yet the roadway portal was cemented over.. very suspicious :)
You could probably have dropped a go pro on a string down the ventalation pipe - but given the most likely use is an echelon node.. probably better you didn't.

This is a very cool bunker complex. I can only imagine what it was like after the war ended. I don’t know if you have any plans on coming to the United States, but in the small town of Cape May, New Jersey, there is supposedly a WW1 ammo shelter deep in the woods. There’s also a massive coastal defense battery from WW2, a sunken concrete ship from WW1 or WW2. There’s also an old railroad on the beach that is uncovered every once in a while. You really should visit. Also, are you German? I have been studying the language in high school and know some basic words.

Greetings from Denmark. What is the reason for sealing bunkers up? I always love to explore any I find and I'm always sad when met with a sealed bunker. Do you know why it gets sealed? Maybe other reasons that it could maybe be dangerous inside?

That sealed off area hillside is an armory the US ARMY built similar ones I seen while stationed in Korea. They probably put the other thousands of torpedos in there

THAT IS SO WRONG that anyone can just brick up these historically important sites to stop people seeing them. It should be made an offence to damage historic sites like this. This could have bene made into a wonderful museum like some of the huge coastal gun sites have.

Some poor slobs had to carry hundreds and hundreds of pounds of cement up from the beach to the top of the hill or from where there was a "railway" line to the top o hill, a reason for those wood railway lines in second building?
Did you use your mini-submersible to check out the rock ledge cut under the actual torpedo expulsion area? Looking at the sudden drop off from the rock ledge to the left of your camera angle at 11:09. In second building, they didn't 'gorge' out the base of the shoreline, like they did at the first building.
Before I felt sorry for the poor slobs who had to carry the hundreds and hundreds of pounds of cement up from beach head to top of hills .... now, they had the "volunteers" working under the water!!
