Thanks for this ... I've been struggling with Scrivener, and I've just about had it. I've had Ulysses for a while but I've never really sat down and got to grips with it. This idiot-proof video of yours (the idiot being me) and the 20-minute course one have been really helpful.
Holy back-slash crap! Why didn't I know this? I'm a HUGE fan of Ulysses and I thought I was a power user, but this is something I honestly didn't know. I actually have avoided using square brackets in my writing because of what I thought was a limitation of Ulysses' markdown. Very cool. Thanks, Michael!
Omg I have missed so many videos because for some reason my bell wasn’t on ring. Remind people to ring the bell because sometime you hit subscribe and the bell is set to occasionally or not at all!! Keep up the good work!
I downloaded Ulysses to try. After not using for a couple days I forgot password and could not get a response from developers. I uninstalled and reinstalled and it still wants a password.
Hi, when using preview my theme has a "author/title" in the top-right corner, but I can't find where to write it, so they show up on the document. Where do I write my name and the title of the book for it to show on every page. Could you help me please? I'd highly appreciate it, as I couldn't find this information on Ulysses's website. Great tips and channel!

Hi Michael thanks for all your videos! Just to take a different track, if I were to say I’d rather not go the markdown way, would you be able to recommend an app that doesn’t use markdown, yet has a library feature, like Ulysses. A wysiwyg app would that be right? Thanks again!

There isn’t one that I know of, but Scrivener can do all of that. It’s not really meant for libraries but it can be used that way if you wanted.

How do I change the language?
Please tell me, how did you manage to create a folder, etc outside the "iCloud" folder?
You should just be able to drag any folder you create outside the ICloud folder.
