John, you had the actor to look back, talk to her, and move to her table. 😂
😂

Everything about the new episodes is so bad. The actors are demanding people's attention in a very unnatural way. Nobody does that.

Hahahahahaha
Is it just me or is the chemistry not really there in these scenes anymore? Like I feel like it's more awkward in a way sort of...
I thought I was the only one that noticed/felt that way. Like I don't know I've noticed that the actors/actresses are looking at certain people for them to jump in and do something whereas before it would happen naturally. Also, it seems like at this point, everyone already knows that perhaps it's just acting and that John Quinoes (or however you spell his last name) will come in any minute, ya know?
*Quiñones
Yea, the emotional aspect is out. It’s just kinda dumb now lol
I think the pandemic did this to us
Yea they also be begging and getting so loud for a reaction.
I'm glad the first lady pursued her dreams of being a photographer. Being an artist myself, being trapped in a dull job is a horrible thing. Thankfully I am free, now.
these new ones feel weird, theres too much forced interaction
They are using topics where you'd should mind your own business but trying to get reactions to them
Because community has been taken away from life. The elites won by separating us and making us individualistic.
Lmaoo 2:00 when WWYD actors come back into a scene and say “why are you bothering people” it sends me 🤣🤣🤣
How will john Quinones come in.😂
"You're going to be a gymnast whether you like it or not." Nope, it doesn't work that way. In order to really excel at something like that, you have to have a passion for it. You have to be able to take the losses, the sacrifices even physical pain sometimes, but if you have the passion for it, you press on.
There's nothing wrong with having a casual interest in something; a hobby, a sideline, an experimental venture, but only those who are truly dedicated can climb to the top, and you can't force or dictate dedication.
Tiger moms would beg to differ
Wait a second... Parents actually help pay for their child's college? What the flip! I suffered paying mines and still helped my parents business 🤦🏼♂️
God bless you. It will come back to you. 🙌
I’ve been paying my tuition outta my own pockets for years 😢
yes. in most south asian/ middle east countries and im assuming other poc families the guardians pay for their kids' tuition fees as well as supporting them financially for food and other bills.
Parents cant force their dreams onto their children you have to let your children be their own person and follow their own dreams
Well said
WWYD, my sons 2nd grade teacher threatened to throw a metal canteen at the kids. School dismissed it as a joke. I was SO shocked.
They need to dismiss that teacher ASAP
Even if that was a joke, if a joke isn’t appropriate for a child to make in school it certainly isn’t appropriate for the teacher to say something like that, Id flip 🤬
Teacher needs to be raised pay and get promoted to headmistress ❤❤❤❤❤
genuinely, speak to the teacher and keep a paper trail. they'll either acknowledge or escalate. if they escalate, you can show it to the school and say "hey, take this shit seriously, look at how theyre escalating. my child is unsafe with this person." if they acknowledge it, you can show it to the school and say "hey, take this shit seriously, they admit to having been out of line. my child is unsafe with this person." either way some action needs to be taken against that teacher. if all else fails, pull a karen and speak to someone as high up as you can.
Talk to the principal, vice principal, anyone you can get a hold of in the administration - and see how they would like to deal with the teacher. And as another poster said, keep a paper trail. Send emails explaining what happened and to set up meetings. If you can request a change to a different teacher for your child, I say do it.
Wishing you the best!
I love how many people actually care and give advice. It’s a reminder of the power of humanity.
It's really a great thing to see people care
Your kids will eventually choose what they want to do. When I was little, I wanted to dance like Billy Elliot haha. But my dad said it was for girls and put me in every sport. He also was scared I would get bullied. I did them through high school, but guess what? I'm now a competitive Argentine Tango dancer. My dad couldn't be more proud of me, and wants lessons now! It would've been nice for him to support that passion when I was a kid, but he eventually learned it's best to support your kid where you know they have their passion in.
That's awesome! Good for you!🕺
The last guy was amazing. It takes a lot of inner work to get to that point. What an impeccable human being ❤
The gentleman at 8:10 was terrific with really sound advice and ' I love to see young people excel'. Should be the school motto in every school.
I honestly think social media shouldn’t be a career for a young person unless they can absolutely handle it. I think a young person is better off going to school. I’m 26 and I never graduated college but I have had a lot of people encourage me to go back to school. I would much rather go back to school instead of becoming a social media “influencer” (whatever the hell that means)
Parents don’t have to pay for college. And I wouldn’t throw money at something I don’t think is a good investment.
well surprise! in other countries and cultures it's not unusual for parents to pay for their kids' tuition fees.
this show fell off, scenes are shorter and the acting feels cheap. not the same. should have kept the old cuts lenghth and editing. wtf is this
Yeah and the actor literally asks "What would you do?" Bro that's so obvious
yeah and some of the new scenarios are quite ridiculous. They should repeat scenarios if necessary, some of the older ones are really interesting and we would like to watch more reactions.
They think are attention spans have shrunk and are now trying to cut up these scenes
Bruh it’s tik tok era people can’t even spend 2 minutes on a red light. 😂😂😂😂
Everyone's attention spans just fell off. That's why they're doing it.
You can't live YOUR dreams through your children's eyes.
You should tell that to South Asian parents like mine, lol!!!
@@user-bk9fk2tq2z I wouldn't dare to do that! I value my life!!!
I miss when these were longer
I went to a high school where the faculty wouldn't take no for an answer if you didn't want to go to college immediately after graduating from high school or would give students a hard time who wanted to take a break after graduation. I have a sister who has severe autism and the faculty at the high school we attended thought my parents were crazy and a nut case for not sending my sister to college. Her autism is so severe college is not an option for her. Watching this clip on WWYD, this is why parents wind up on the estrangement list later on in life where there kids cut off contact with their parents behaving this way. You don't walk out and tell your teenager to find a ride home on your own because you disagree with them. My parents never would have done that. This is why we have national organizations such as National Safe Place after watching the behavior from these parents in the video. I would have gone to family counseling with them or individual counseling also too from a psychologist.
My advice to teens sick of living be their parents rules and standards; once you turn 18, in the eyes of the law, you are now a legal adult and if you're willing to put you foot down, they will legally have no say over how you live your life. You want to move out of their house, out of state, or even out of the country, once you turn 18 your parents have no legal authority over you.
I've been told me whole life "honor thy father and thy mother." I say not if it means you can't honor yourself in the process.
"You can't honor yourself in the process" That's deep! 😢
I'm deciding on going to college this fall and I'm deciding I'm going to start with my basics
It's not that easy to pay rent, food, bills, school and work. Easier said that done. But if you can do it, go ahead.
@@edithdlp8045 school has resources like FAFSA and scholarships
Legally you're 18 and now legally your parents can throw you out if your in there house you follow there rules.
This was some of the worst acting I’ve seen on this show.
They need to follow their dreams. Why waste money on a degree they’ll never use? And you may think you’re getting you way, but you, in the long run should have lived your dream, then you may understand.
Because I would rather get a degree and then start off as that and know I'm secure in starting off on my basics
A friend in college was forced to get an engineering degree. He always wanted to be a teacher so he used his math skills and he became a math teacher.
@@edithdlp8045 I'm deciding about going to college this year
College education is really important and so is a degree.. 18-22/25 is the age to study!... you have the rest of your life to experiment do whatever you feel like plus at 17/18 many people may not have the mental capacity/life experiences to decide right vs wrong! You can always change majors in Sophmore year etc...
@@nishantthaccker1173 yes
Back in 2021 my dad wanted me to play sports like basketball and track. But I wanted to do drums and symphonic band. He TRIED to FORCE me to do sports instead of percussion and band. It was one of those “I want you to do this, and you will whether you like it or not!” scenarios.
What happened after. Did you do sports or percussion at the end?
@@scotthearts9634 Drums. And would eventually do trumpet and French horn
If my parent threatens too kick me out then im hopping out the window haha
That man at 7:20 is so wise ❤️
I had a classmate in college who was forced by his dad to be an engineer. He did become an engineer but he really wanted to be a teacher so he used his math skills and became a math teacher.
At least he had a backing of engineering. Maths and engineering go hand in hand.
Here’s a tip. Be independent and make your own decisions. Oh yeah btw I’m 24 not some old man saying this. I met soo many people in college that seriously had the mindset of 16 year olds. If your parents baby you and you allow it because you want an easier life don’t complain when they make decisions.
Ok... just my opinion, but...
If someone isn't doing something they love, it's going to show. They're not going to get all the great opportunities you might think they will because people can see all over their faces whether or not they actually want to be there. And, even if they do get that perfect job that they hate and makes them a fortune... Now they're rich and miserable. Personally, I'd rather be broke and happy.
As far as college... Decades ago the college choice was very different. A degree is meaning less and less in today's marketplace where you need a masters for some entry level positions. Add to this putting yourself in debt for what could very well be (and has to many) for the rest of your natural life. In this era it's more practical to learn the skills on your own while taking night courses and maybe going to a tech school. If you're in computers, you can get certifications online. You don't need college to be educated, and you don't need a masters to show that you are, and you've done the work.
So many people have jobs they don’t love; many hate their jobs. But money is necessary, of course. If someone wants to major in the arts, do so, but realize that “many are called but few are chosen.” And that the majority of those with art degrees - all of the arts - will never “make it.” Many will give it up. And those who continue might end up old and struggling to survive financially. I speak from experience as a visual arts major in college and grad school. I don’t regret my decision to pursue what I had to pursue, but the reality can be difficult.
@@Ceerads It can be, but it's an even worse one when you're in a job you hate, and still can't afford a 1 bedroom apartment. In this world you're likely to struggle either way.
@@lukusblack6442 Agree. And now so many young people (and older people, too) are in that situation.
The last guy knew he was on TV as soon as the actress said “I mean what would you do” lol😂
Finally a longer episode
I thought the point of this show was seeing if people would step in to say something (like the old episodes) not deliberately turning to people to find a reaction, obviously if that girl was staring at you after hearing all that you’re probably going to say something, apposed to old episodes people would step in with a positive or sometimes even a negative take on the topic. glad to have you back WWYD but please notice the difference!!
finally a longer video again, thank you wwyd staff. bring this to canada, i want to watch more!
never been this early to a WWYD Video
My opinion is as long as they’re making money and are healthy, they should be allowed to do whatever they want with their life, life’s not about a set path, if they decide on college later, that’s also an option
My mother is like this. I used to have conversations like this with her all the time. My mother straight told me she had me to fulfill her dreams.
Hi my future self who will probably rewatch this in a couple years
I love how she was looking at her husband at 7:37. Just admiring his sound wisdom. I also love how at 8:42 he said he had sons that “we” raised, instead of saying “I”. It’s the little things for me. I’m sure they have a great relationship, probably not perfect, but it’s solid, balanced, and strong.
9:44 The dude's response. 😮❤❤❤
Ive been watching full episodes on hulu. Love this show! So glad it's back!!!❤
That last guy is so great
The Mom has a good point that girl is lucky. Her mom is willing to pay all through college me and my sisters we had to work while we were going to college. We had to help contribute to our college tuition with our parents because my parents are not billionaire parents.

witnessed THIS...I'd be like "omg 😲... I'm DEFINITELY on WWYD!"in my head😂
Each “failure” leads you closer to success (even if they don’t pursue that career they are one step closer to finding their path). I went to college originally for a criminal justice degree and didn’t really know what I wanted to do. I ended up dropping out of college and now I’m in a career that I absolutely love and yeah I’m not making as much as I could have but I rather have richness in life than in money.
The last guy would be a great dad ❤
Too many parents are trying to live vicariously through their kids.
I dropped out of college after my sophomore year and it was the beat decision I ever made. I had no clue what I wanted to study or do. I went on to get my associates degree and work with people who have their bachelors/masters. They don't make that much more than me. 😂

Annette: 😱
Guy: 🤷♂️ thank you for inviting us into your world
To the other girl the one who was a gymnast she is lucky that she’s so good at gymnastics. It could help her pay college tuition and she could still go for the degree she wants.
The problem is that most parents will push their children in 1 direction, and as the kid grows into their own person they will want to go in another direction. And lots of parents won't accept that.
I'm so glad this show is back....BUT it's feeling more forced than beforehand and they break up the conversation as soon as it's going.
I miss the old formula! 🤷🏿♂️
As someone who fully supported the arts, I even went to community college for fashion. I will say this, I would encourage you to pick a major that will pay the bills. Bc if u pursue an art degree, u may never use or need it and get suck with the debt. Many A-list actors never went to college for acting. So yes, I do agree with the mom on doing acting on the side. If u want to advance ur skills in the field. Then, find workshops, youtube videos, or take a couple of courses on community college.
U can find something similar to an act major.
For example, if u want to be an actor, then consider being a teacher as a back up plan.
If u want to work an animation, then go into computer graphic or UX design.
I have a friend who major into acting. He love acting, he always star in our high school plays. He majored in acting in a big art school in Las Vegas. He audition for every school play in college and never got a role. He had to settle for community theatre and be camp couselor for theatre camp. Now he is still doing that after graduation

As someone who got a job I love with a starting wage of 40 bucks an hour... at 18 years old... 3 months out of high school... with no prior experience or family to help get in with; I think college is just completely useless for some people. Why waste the time and money? If you actually need it for your career, go for it, but otherwise I just find it to be such a waste!
My husband and I have agreed that if our kids start something, they have to be at it for at least a year. If it’s a long term thing like the case of the gymnast. We’ll ask them to give it another month or 2 just to make sure it’s not a phase.
My husband was a music education major. Finding work was originally very difficult. If it was my kids I would have them at least talk to a counselor and preferably someone in the field. Also my brother was an acting minor in college. He’s now a lawyer. Why acting minor? You have to be able to keep your emotions in check in court and keep a straight face. What better place to learn that then acting.
I can relate to this scenario because more than a decade ago, my mom said to major in accounting otherwise, I'll be sent home and just study there. Since I don't like going to our hometown university, I agreed and pushed it through. Though I struggled a lot metionally and mentally, I'm still greatful that I didn't had a hard time looking for a job. Thanks mom!😊

John imma need you stop the bs and do real scenarios that’s going on today .Like wtf is this ?🤣
This is stupid, the mom doesn’t have to pay for a child college degree.
Fair, but I think you shouldnt be unwilling just because of what they want to major in.
College is soooooo expensive!!!
@@Buccialightbruh the parent can do whatever they want. Get some money and you’ll understand. If it’s the parents money, and they don’t like that major, they have every say to not pay. If you have a problem pay for yourself.

What happened to the teacher with a teen student video?
A problem i always had with my parents is that they were so much about guidance that they completely ignored supporting anything i did..... It just made me realize what i could do differently if i had a jild to take care of one day. Now i have a stepson and i get why they felt the way they did but.... They let fear of me being a failure rule the way they thought i should be raised and i wont do that to my son. In the end a good example of what you shouldn't be can be just as effective of an example of what you should be in the fact that it might be harder but you really learn.
IDK what this show needs but they need to make it more realistic. Ppl like me have been waiting for a reboot so millions of ppl are watching now.
8:29 LMAO JOHN RUN 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
It's important for parents to realize what their kid needs and wants. It would be beneficial for kids to try to show their parents that what they wanna do can make them happy.
I love the guy saying, “If it’s something you don’t want to do and here comes John Quiñones.” So smooth!
This made me think of a similar scenario. I watch a lot of “Say yes to the dress” and there sometimes are parents who think just because they are offering or helping pay for the dress or wedding they get the final say on what dress or venue. Like they act like it’s their wedding not their child’s. 🙄

My psycho principal of my old school asked me what I wanted to major in college (I wasn’t even 18 yet at the time) and I said I don’t wanna go to college but I might wanna go to art school, and she threw a fit and yelled at me that if I’m going to her school I don’t have a choice and I will be going to college and majoring in something useful that isn’t art, needless to say I left that school pretty fast

Telling my parents I was dropping out was gut wrenching. They weren't happy, not because they didn't want me to do what I wanted but because they were worried about how it would turn out for me. Once they realized I was going to be ok they had no issues.
Telling them I wasn't going to play football after my surgery they never got over.
Honestly In this day and age when i hopefully have kids I’d be proud as hell if my kid didn’t want to go to college
If they don’t want to college that’s fine, but they are adults now they can find a job, place to live, parents shouldn’t have to enable their wants
I wouldn't pay for my kid's to get a useless degree. So many people in debt for choosing degrees with no financial upside. Paying $100k for a job that pays $40k a year is insane. I would never pay for that.
Each episode shows that individuals can and do things. Most of these actions are protective, helpful, or loving. Some are uncomfortable or ignore the situation. The small remainder dismiss the situation.
That seems close to a general statement about this series' broadcast.
