A very simple install. Thank you for walking us through that. With a body lift that positive terminal will need shaved down to put those fuses back on top.

Thank you Tim! Actually you can unclip the power harness from the frame to get an extra inch or two out of the cable to make it work! We recently had to do that in shop.

This seems to be the answer I've been looking for! Thank you for all this sweet info! Question for you. Keep in mind I really have no clue about electronics on vehicles, but what is the extra fuse bar for on the plate? By using the Garmin device, I thought you didn't need any fuses because it was all set up within the device. I love these videos of setting your system up, but I'd love even more to see a video where you're then adding all the different light components and other items to the Garmin, and other fuse bar. Do you have a video like that?

Thank you so much for the compliments and interest! The fuse block is for items that do not need switched. In the shop we often hook solar inputs there to charge the battery, fridge freezers, GMRS radios, and anything else that may have a built in on off switch!

Does the alternator put out enough voltage for that battery or do you need one of those voltage boosters? Thx

Nice and clean install! Is there a reason you connect your grounds before your power wires? As long as I've been doing my own wiring, I've been connecting the grounds last. Kinda curious if there's any reasoning behind connecting the grounds first.

I have an ecoflow 800w alternator charger coming... comes with it's own 125a fuse. Can I hook it up to your terminal fuse or do i need to go straight to battery as separate circuit with their fuse (or another terminal fuse)?

Hello Dru, the 125 A fuse for the Garmin is ONLY for the Garmin PowerSwitch.

I’m sorry I don’t quite understand your question. What are you asking about exactly?

@@BlazeOffRoad the positive side factory part of the terminals from the vehicle are still exposed. factory cover covers them in stock config.
