- Its officially been 100 in game days of my survival and my base is coming together really well! The highlight definitely being the treehouses but I've built some other pretty in depth structures as well.

10/10 on creativity! i'm obsessed with the build mode in this game and this is officially THE sickest single build I've seen so far, and that's just judging from the still image on the thumbnail. Excellent bridge and slides and the dock is so cute :D now to watch the video!

Put a little incline at the end of your slides to launch yourself up and out. I also built my compound on a cliff with a water fall that overlooks a lake. It's alot of fun to just jump off the water fall into the lake and I also have a zip line going over the lake from the cliffs and you can jump off mid zipline into the lake. There is a cannibal camp at the bottom by the lake and it really pisses them off watching me zip above their heads having a good time but I'm pretty sure they are just jealous. I'm definitely going to make me a cool slide as well just to rub it in even more.

That bridge design is awesome, I could try the same design in the old Forest, but it might be harder to do.

Great job Bruh! The possibilities for this game is so high!! I made the mortal kombat tower in mine.. Wish we had trophys from mutants because as of now all I have in each floor are the plain effigies and skulls, I mixed em up each floor though so some floors have 2 or 3

I like your lakeside retreat. Base building is fun in this game, but sadly I feel it's almost unnecessary as you can just nomadically travel from cave to cave without building a base. I hope the devs build some sort of buff system like Valheim where you get a bonus if you have a comfortable base to rest in.
ya it’s kinda useless i wish it was like subnautica where you needed to build stuff to beat the game
I def agree with you, to be honest this is what ruined the game for me as of now. I was able to beat the game in one day because I could just run cave to cave without really building anything. There really is no pro to building a base in the game as of now.
I feel you, for me I just really like to build and I finished the game so it’s more just messing around. But there’s only been 2 updates so in game so far so I’m eager to see what they do. A big one I can think of would be schematics in caves like they did towards the end of The Forest updates.

I did do custom settings but the cannibals tend to group up in one area of the base at a time so it’s big enough to ignore them occasionally

You can build on the water when it’s frozen and when it unfreezes it stays there

peaceful mode has no cannibals or mutants
The cannibals usually gravitate to one specific area at a time so it makes it easier to fight them. But this is a multiplayer server so it’s usually a balance between me and my friends

Disappointed in the game, the first was insanely good, this has to have some major updates to improve, the cannibals are more funny than scarey, and easy to kill, in all video's on this game, all I see is people building things, that's all we have to do of any substance, waited patiently for this game only to feel bored after the first few days.

"Early Access" did you not play the first forest when it first came out, that game was AWFUL as hell now it's good after 184 separate updates
