- In this video of The Forest, I show you how to build the pond house from the climbing rope video. It is an easy build and fun to do. This house was improvised and it turned out really well. I am going to start improvising more.

@@whisper__ if you look closely, the time stamp at 5:40 is 3-4 seconds before the transition
It's quite funny how you've transformed this survival game full of cannibals and weapons to tear them appart to Build a House Simulator 2019. I like it !

Your designs in this game are the only builds ive seen anywhere on youtube or google images that i am impressed, and inspired by. My crew builds some amazing bases and we are in the process of building a pretty amazing one. Well done.

I found using a platform at the base of the front door to connect to a set of simple stairs on the other side of the pond worked well. It might have just been the height of my building, but the simple stairs were too short and there would have been a big lip to jump over every time i went through the front door. Love the vids Farket, keep up the great work!

Just completed this build on my single player game and very happy with it. Position on lake and location in Fertile lands makes this a very easy playthrough with limited patrols. Now on day 150+ and busy creating a "skyway" to my northern base. Thank you for the inspiration for this build and instructs on how to create. Having a blast with it!

Still love that grand mansion of flat floors and cornerstone supports you made in season three, a fantastic blueprint for me to aspire to. Currently just not wanting to get too invested in a game while waiting on December patch, though it's so hard. Just messing around with crane placement on the coast and bridges to the cliffs.

Could you do a full cave guide as you did before , that show the entire cave and all the loot in it since it is outdated by now , i think that would be a great idea now that the game has been released on console , would help a lot of new player i think !

that would be tedious, you'd have to get all the logs down the sinkhole. Unless you play in creative mode..

The pond in the video looks much nicer than in my game. Did they remove all the rocks and aquatic vegetation from it?
Where is this? If possible, what is the coordinate of this place? I think I found this pond but mine has no mossy rocks or lily pads in it

Have you found if building effigies keep the cannibals away from your camps?
No, only if you burn them... They aren't that usefull.
I made my base in that very spot with log ziplining help and the log holder mod.
The best way to make a safe house is to encapsulate an area such as that one with one massive wall that is quite far from the house itself. That way the mobs won't notice you and won't attack the wall enraged, they'll just look at it and leave. Put spikes on the wall for extra safety. One or two may spawn inside from time to time because the game has this cheapish enemies spawn mechanics. No mutants have appeared inside and they ignore the wall too. That is one way to avoid direct assaults at home.

Basename "roof does not work" is my suggestion. IT only takes week or two with 4 player coop chopping wood to get anything like this made.

I have a question, if i build a wall made of water collectors and i go out of render distance. Will cannibals just walk like there is nothing there or will they act like it still blocks their way?
All structures render out after a certain distance, no wall can keep them completely out.
Is it me or is it really hard to place the custom foundation correctly
