    In general, Tarams is a fairly reliable amplifier. I would repair it using an adapter and UCC27524 driver. All this is being repaired. Failure is often due to low supply voltage. Sorry my English is bad.

      😂 what the difference between trara*amps and sound digital amps... Brazilian amps (AKA Tara Amp= Trash Amps and AKA Sound digital= ShittingDumpster) never ever buy Brazilian amps they're junk's no parts to repair they're grounding out all the chips and IC chips and you can not read the chips and IC chips... ahhhhhhhhhhh

    • @ellensburgamplifier
      @ellensburgamplifier  Před 8 měsíci

      @@ChiaYang-q8x Here is the biggest difference between the two. Soundigital will NOT help the average customer or repair techs who don't contract with them AND they deface their ICs. Taramps has some of the best customer support for both techs and non-techs and not a single IC is defaced. Yes, you can call up Taramps and purchase parts if available good luck with that through Soundigital. I have educated many people on the proper use of Brazilian boards :)

      The heatsink of the amplifier is internally connected directly to the 12v ground power terminal so it won't matter what you screw the amplifier to.

    Good morning, greetings from Chile, I just bought an 8k bass yesterday. but it failed, I don't know if it's a factory problem or something similar, I connected it and everything worked fine since I didn't attach it to a fixed part of the car, it worked very well, but when I attached it to the car seat with the 4 holes it has, I turned on the amplifier and smoke and sparks started coming out from inside and he shouldn't have done that. Since I always did the same thing, except that the taramp gave me this error, could you help me if the taramp works without problems by connecting the affirmed amplifier to the car seat? since it made me dough, so to speak, and burned immediately. Greetings, I await your response.

    • @onesikm3
      @onesikm3 Před 8 měsíci

      Ya I think it’s because you grounded the chassis of the amplifier to your cars metal. You can’t have this amp touch any metal surface of your car. It’s always good practice to mount amps onto a hard plastic first like abs then to your car

    • @ellensburgamplifier
      @ellensburgamplifier  Před 8 měsíci

      Brazillian amplifiers have a heatsink that is directly connected to the negative power terminal. The only time you have to isolate the amplifier is when you have a voltage potential between the ground/heatsink and the vehicle chassis. IE two different isolated electrical systems in one vehicle.

    B2 Audio Riot 7500

    Taramps Bass 8k

      A list of amplifiers I tend to stay away from repairing for various reasons ;) If I had to choose one it is a choice of design which would be the Bass/MD 8k AFTER securing the inductors and re-flowing the output transistor traces. They are almost identical amplifiers besides the freq. response. All the others when they fail, they can fail to the point of severe damage. I am not familiar with the DS18 8k so I can't consider that one as a choice.

    • @ellensburgamplifier
      @ellensburgamplifier  Před 8 měsíci +1

      @@DailyBassinDane The choice between the two will depend on what frequency you plan to cross over at or what frequency the enclosure is tuned to for those subs. I am not an installer so you would have to talk with a shop that knows those specifications for the subs/enclosure. I would watch the voltage drop and increase the capacitance of the battery rack if needed to avoid possible power supply meltdowns.
