Incriminator audio amps are awesome! I had 2 40.1's a while back. I shoulda kept them but I do like the Taramps bass 15k. Nothing beats the Taramps Smart 5k when it comes to power/price ratio and it sounds great! A few of my friends have them and absolutely love them
Great video brother, Ive been rocking a stetsom Vulcan 3k for a a couple weeks now and its not a bad amp but the sound quality just isnt there. My bass clef 6k is just a beast of an amp and they do over 8k at half ohm as you shown here on this video. They are pricey but definitely worth the money, sound quality is just super clean and they are some very efficient Korean boards.
@@markwoods212 that's a good strategy, always important to be able to back up those powerful and demanding set ups. If I could start over, beefing up the electrical would be the first thing I would do.
It's mostly what your looking for , stetsom and taramps will put out that raw power but those Korean amps just have very clean power and the low end notes are so much cleaner and hit alot harder vs the full bridge amps. It's quality vs quantity.
Some of the Orion amps do rated power at 12.8 Smart 5k looks like a great candidate. Smart move picking something that does the rms power you're needing @2ohms. Sundown Yardsale had Salt 6 for $1057 a week ago lol take your time pick what you really want... it's an investment in your happiness 😁
Designing an efficient box is key for Impedance rise. with an amplifier that’s capable of producing the same amount of power at two and one ohms will help combat box rise
If electrical isn't ready, go Korean. If electrical is up to par, it's hard to beat the size/price of full bridge. Not all full bridge sound bad, I think a lot of the Kicker amps are full bridge and they don't sound bad. They don't make any big dog amps (yet) tho. Full bridge are more likely to fail/less durable with crappy electrical
@@markwoods212 yep. Part of the process. Upgrade one thing, then you gotta upgrade 3 other things. Going 370 amp alt from 320, adding lithium. Phase 2. Swap out DS18 for Deaf Bonce, bigger box, rear seat delete.

I'm Taramps all day no problems had for years (smart 5K) is a beast !!!! and truly speaking even if you have a korean amp you still got to do your big 4 not big 3 cause your calling for more power and the factory alt.. just don't cover the electricity you need so why spend all that money on a korean amp when you can save your money for other important parts of your system
I really wish you woulda gotten that Soundqubed 8k when it was on sale for $319. They were Chinese copies of one of the Sounddigital designs, but also they did produce over rated power and had much better sound quality than most Brazilian amps I've used. As long as you don't blow subs on them, had sufficient electrical, and not run below rated impedance, they were the best bang for the buck at the time. I still have the 3k, and the 5k going strong. If your looking for some of the best built Brazilian amps check out Powerus amps. With that said, I've owned both Brazilian full bridge, and Korean half bridge amps, and I can say that most of the Korean amps are built better than most Brazilian amplifiers, can be strapped, comes with a bass knob, have better sound quality, and can run below rated impedance without blowing up. Some people even claimed hitting higher scores after switching from Brazilian to Korean amps with comparable power. I'd definitely check out one of the down4sounds Korean amplifiers if you're looking for a little more bang for your buck on the Korean side.
@@markwoods212 the lpf is set lower. On the Vulcan and regular smart 5 the lpf is set at 80 and up. The smart 5 bass is 60 and up. The best is the stetson bravo 8k. It's lpf starts at 30 and up. With a low tuned system you want it set low. I have mine set around 40. I can set lower, cuz my box is tuned to 30. It won't play anything good above 40. Unless you are running a 4th or 6th order or sealed.
The Lpf setting is the feature that makes the bass different from the others. The others have a hpf that can be used as subsonic filter but the Lpf won't cut out any unwanted frequencies from your sub bass around your tuning. Unless you run a DSP with it to set it appropriately.
@@markwoods212 maybe, but for $600 the smart5 will give you no less than 5k and when it rises towards 2ohms, it usually does over 6k. I've seen these things do over 8k when wired to 1ohm. The only reason I'd spend for something else would be if I absolutely needed to wire at .5
This whole Brazilian vs Korean confuses people. I see it all the time. It should be full bridge vs half bridge. There are full bridge amps made in Korea, there are half bridge amps made in China. People just automatically assume full bridge is only Brazilian amps like taramps, banda, stetsom, etc. Tons of others brands though like JL AUDIO, JBL, CROWN, MTX, ETC have used full bridge designs.
