- Hello, my gorgeous friend! I have so many AMAZING things to share with you today, including not one but two beautiful patterns, as well as a BRAND NEW, upcycled yarn base called Restore Fingering. I'll tell you all about that, but first let me tell you about today's patterns.
We've updated the patterns and remade our classic, knitted Pascal tank top, as well as the elegant, crocheted Sweet Pea shawl. Both are shown here in our new Restore Fingering yarn. In this video, I'm going to show you everything you need to know to crochet the Sweet Pea shawl, including the body rows, the top and bottom borders, as well as the special stitches.
Download Pascal at www.expressionfiberarts.com/p... and Sweet Pea at www.expressionfiberarts.com/p...

Both Pascal and Sweet Pea are rated as Intermediate level patterns and are for those knitters or crocheters who feel comfortable with
their craft and have made a few projects, using various skills and
techniques. Both Pascal and Sweet Pea are shown here in our Limited Edition Restore Fingering yarn. Pascal was knitted with Tangible Restore Fingering, and Sweet Pea was crocheted with Invigorate Restore Fingering.
Restore Fingering is a totally new, upcycled yarn. When our mill spins up luxury yarns, there are often leftover fibers. So we asked them to gather their fiber tidbits and spin them into this Limited Edition yarn base, so nothing goes to waste. And even better... because it's an upcycled yarn, we're able to offer it to you at a super low price! YAY! Restore Fingering has gorgeous drape from the alpaca fiber, stability due to the wool, and a subtle glow thanks to the Viscose. Restore Fingering is a blend of 36% alpaca, 37% wool, and 27% Viscose with 399 yd/365 m per 3.5 oz/100 g skein.

Completed this today as a gift for my mom’s 70th birthday. It turned out beautifully, even without the addition of the borders. Thank you for this tutorial!
What a beautiful elegant shawl, I'm definitely getting Jane Austen vibes off this, so I can see it in vintage dusky pinks or creams. 🥰 How wonderful that you're recycling and not wasting any of your gorgeous yarns. Love that! ❤
Brilliant! What I love is the verbal instructions and none of that annoying background music. Loved it.
I love the idea of upcycled yarn. We waste so much as a society, and seeing this makes me love you guys so much more! (I didn't think that was possible, lol!) I think this would be so beautiful in deep purple or a creamy beige. Thank you for the patterns, and have a good holiday weekend!
The upcycling of yarn fibers into a new yarn Restore is a terrific idea! I love your yarns, and how your yarns and patterns are always so connected to the natural world. The Sweet pea pattern has a special place in my heart- for two reasons: my grandmother taught me to crochet by making lace doilies when I was a child, and I taught my daughter to crochet and knit. My nickname for my daughter was Sweet Pea, and one of our favorite things to do was go in search of and work with amazing yarns like the ones you make. Both beautiful women are now angels who I miss with all my heart. Sweet Pea was an artist and loved teal, so I would choose the Restore color artistry to make a shawl in her memory.
This is lovely. Sweet Pea is the flower that grandpa first gave grandma when they were dating! Love that this recycled yarn speaks to a classic! I picture my version in pinks, lavenders and greens. Thank you for sharing your talent with us!
I love that you have the written pattern on the screen as well as you showing every step along the way. Thank you so much for making a great video tutorial!
I would love to make this beautiful wrap with a lovely light caramel color
As a beginner crochet and knitter, I'm always amazed at the dance of fingers that create beauty out of twisted fibers. I must admit I get intimidated but this pattern is lovely, the yarn looks like it would be lovely to work with and I'd like to see it done in the colour ' Contemplate' ( though all the colours are beautiful as always) 😊
Already downloaded both patterns! This is so beautiful. I love the gold color of the model you stitched for the sample, although I’m easy-I’d love any color!! Thank you for your generosity and positivity. Both are sorely needed in our world today. ❤️❤️
Back at it again with another ICONIC color palette. Vivify is so enchanting. A color that is rarely seen in yarn, I think it would compliment this shawl beautifully! Such natural and warm tones.
I think this shawl would be absolutely stunning in that pumpkin color!💕
Love, love the fact that all yarn "leftovers" are used to create amazing knits/crocheted items. Not easy to chose a favorite color since they are all beautiful, I would probably go with Contemplate, though Invigorate and Vivify also caught my eye :) All the best.
This is one of the most beautiful patterns I’ve ever seen.
The ice blue "Dynamic" yarn is absolutely stunning, I think this shawl would look beautiful in that colour. And what a great idea to upcycle all the little bits you get left over in production ❤
I love the fact that this yarn utilizes the scrap fibers to become such gorgeous yarn. This shawl would be beautiful in a deep emerald green. Your tutorials are so amazing with your soothing patient information and instructions. Thank you! ❤ 🧶
Absolutely gorgeous and elegant! This would look timeless in vintage colors but so bold in red with a black dress. How the textures would pop! Love the fact that you're recycling the leftover fibers. So great not to waste all that goodness.
I’m a blue palette lover, so thrive , or novelty are my absolute favourites from this beautiful yarn base.
I love the idea of turning scraps into something beautiful! And that Tangible color is gorgeous!
Such pretty colors. I thought I would used the ameliorate, animate and clever to make the shawl. Thank you both of the patterns today. Hope to see you for the Tuesday live.
