      @@marieanne7569 I think I got it,
      High flame till boiling,
Lid goes on, then lower the heat to Medium for 8-10 minutes,
      Then low for 5 minutes.
Off the gas till the lid goes a bit cool to touch.
      I hope I made it understandable 😬

There's a much easier way than this.
      1) Buy a rice cooker.
      2) Keep washing the rice until the water turns clear.
      3) Put clean water in the pot.
      3) Put your finger in and water should be up to the first line on your finger.
      4) Press the start button
That's literally all you need to know xD

    I like that 10 - 5 - 5. I usually do 10 medium, 15 on low/simmer to evaporate.
So 10 on high is to soak the rice. 5 on Low to get the rice soft without overcooking/burning. And 5 to rest to evaporate, and keep the rice nice and fluffy.

Thank you! I woke up to two dogs with very upset stomachs, but I've never managed to make rice without burning it before!

I’m gonna try that 10-5-5. My steamed rice is already great but if I can make it even better illl hit that shit. This looks interesting!

Didn’t work well for me as the first 10 minutes of high was burning the rice. I’ll stick with boiling, then put a lid on it and put it down to 2-3 (med low) for 20, then it’s done.

I'm making rice this way right now. My question is, what cookware are you using a metal spoon in? Is it scratching it? I want a set, thanks.

What i do, is turn it to boil, then once it does, put lid on. Then, turn it down in between low and medium for 16-18 minutes. It's very good

I wash 2 cups rice till starch is gone, add 3 cups of water plus a little bacon grease so it doesn't clump, heat on high to a rolling boil with the lid on of course, then once it's boiling, you turn it down on low and don't touch it for 20 minutes. It's perfect every time.

Potential substitute for the bacon grease..? Not sure I’d just have that ready to go lol😅
