  • In the first part of our bracket-style competition the 2023 Aprilia Tuono V4 Factory came out as the winner. In part 2 we are now putting this this machine up with the even more expensive 2023 BMW M 1000 R and 2023 Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP 2 to see if a $20k can keep up with the likes of a nearly 30K and 40k machines and crown a 2023 Hyper-Naked bike of the year.

Just Think....🤔 a 20k Aprilia is competing with 30k and 40k motorcycles, that says alot for Aprilia.

For the price of the SFV4SP you can buy a Tuono V4 Factory, carbon wheels, 520 chain/sprockets, Cordona quickshifter, best Ohlin money can buy, best Brembo money can buy, full exhaust, flash/tune and still have couple of grand left.

  • @Mcanozcelik

You guys sound like ducati fans no offense this bike is 38 grand right and it was not fair to the aprilia at all

  • @clutchfreak13

In the end, Tuono costs 20k and for everyday rider is also complete overkill. And one more thing, there is no better sounding bike out there!

  • @andygendron

Complete botch without a KTM in the mix.

  • @MrRiftman

I've got a non-Factory Tuono V4 and even without the additional goodies, it is a roaring good time. 175hp in a 460hp for $16k with a pretty solid electronics suite is worth it in my mind. Gas mileage is ass, I won't deny, so commuting isn't the greatest, but the overall experience makes up for it

  • @dariocp87

Why they don’t make bikes like that but with bodywork?? Don’t get me wrong, sports bikes are a pain in the ass once you have like half an hour riding them. Naked bikes are the best of both worlds. Sporty and more comfortable than a sports bike. Put some bodywork for wind protection and that’s it! 😊

  • @bigandyp3620

Well it makes perfect sense that a bike that cost almost double the Aprillia would beat it! It’s rather sad you left out the prices of the top two bikes because the majority of people can not afford them!

The reason there is a flat spot on the BMW is because emissions testing takes place at 7k rpms. It's "flat" by design so the bike can pass emissions.

Horses for courses really. If money wasn't an issue, who wouldn't buy the best out there!! Like other comments on here the Aprilia is good enough for most but, not me...Ducati all the way.

  • @mortaljorma69

It's obvious that Aprilia has most bang for the buck and my pick too.

    LOVE my 22 Tuono V4 Factory 😜

  • @motosagela

I just got the M1000R and I have an SFV4S. The ECU flash really helps the BMW, as it did the SF.

  • @theonlyredspecial

Problem is the bikes are so heavily castrated out of the box due to euro and

I have a 2023 Tuono 1100 Factory. Only mod thus far is a tail tidy. I will upgrade the wheels to forged or Carbon at some point to help the flickablility, but I am very happy with the bike. 2,600 miles in 2 1/2 months of ownership including some twisty mountain roads and will be on a track next November. Lots of options out there but I am happy with my choice given the mix of street and occasionaly track days i will be doing on this. The sound is awesome and the midrange torque is awesome.

  • @Stratocasterhead51

You guys lost the piece of paper with the lap times scribbled on?

  • @thinkdunson

is the Speed Triple 1200 RR not a contender? (or RS if you don't consider the RR enough of a naked bike)

  • @williamonthewestside

Top level commentary and review. I really appreciate each of your articulation of each bike.

  • @dennispreszler3528

The 2022 SFV4SP was my first Ducati. It practically rides itself it is so good.

  • @alanjcravophotography4149

I did ride them all, however I have felt more connected with the triumph speed triple 1200 RS and I love it. Plenty power and enough in the real world
