Amazing Showman - he is still a role model and his music a "must know". Thank you Mom and Dad for "torturing" me with this music when I was 6-8 years old. I finally understand everything.
Freddie once said about Brian's guitar playing-He is so talented, he can make his guitar talk. " Now I'm Here " is one of his greatest songs, and is great in concert.~ FM~
Rock royalty at its finest and four geniuses!! The only band ever to have all four members write number one top hits & got into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and 2001 and all four members were inducted into the writers Hall of Fame in 2003. I was really surprised that John Deacon didn't show up for that because Freddie Mercury worked a lot with him to help his writing and vocals. John came in at 19 years old and he wasn't arrogant but just damn good on the bass so he became a permanent member. John retired in 1997 from music forever and I'm guessing it's because he knew the band was legendary and they had completed all of the works left by Freddie Mercury by 1995. The three remaining members wrote and performed " Only You The Good Die Young" in 1997 and they had that one last performance in Paris with Elton John in 1997 and that's when John decided to retire. John was so frustrated during the band's visit to France because they had to perform with an orchestrated dance show and they didn't have a lead singer until Elton John showed up unexpectedly. Before Elton showed up the band members had planned for Brian and Rodger to sing two of the numbers that Freddie Mercury would have otherwise performed. Brian and Rodger both said that John was extremely perturbed and upset the day is coming up to that performance and even after Elton showed up the day before the performance it didn't make John feel any better. I saw the video clip, and John looked angry, frustrated, and hurt because I think deep down he knew the band had done everything they could do as a group after Freddie Mercury died and that was it. John Deacon was even quoted as saying shortly after Fred's death, ' well, it's all over now because we've lost 1 of our members and we've gone as far as we can go". John was really super fragile & took Freddie Mercury death even harder than Brian and Roger despite the fact that Brian and Roger had known Freddy longer. I'm glad to see that Rodger and Brian are still rocking away 70 + years old and having a good old time with a young Adam Lambert and whoever is playing the bass looking back in retrospect I guess Freddie Mercury was right at their last tour in 1986 at Wembley in London by saying " the band would be together until they all f-ing died, Im sure"..
0:45 to 1:00 it is actually better that the studio version! the lighting highlights on Roger on the drums is amazing. Brian May is a fricking madman and John Deacon is so tight. this must have been a GREAT concert.
What a showman this guy was. He made it look so easy which was his extraordinary talented showing through. I sometimes wonder weather he really new how good he was. RIP Freddie Mercury.
They are actually amazing and their body of work is timeless. Freddie's voice is beyond beauty. Brian's guitar work is superb. Roger's drums are solid. John carries it with the bass. Still sounds fresh today.

@JetLi As a 60 year old rocker Freddie fan from day one I'm talking about since late 60s the Larry Lurex era. I love watching Freddie during live exhibitions: so full of energy, running up and down the stage, dancing, singing..what a performer! n. 1 Long live to the Queen
Wow! What a performance! The whole band was fantastic! And Freddie's vocals were phenomenal especially near the end! And after running around the whole stage, I don't know how he does it!

QUEEN FOREVER AND EVER ! STILL THE GREATEST BAND EVER ! UNIC VOICE : FREDDIE ! BRIAN, ROGER AND JOHN : JUST GREAT ! 4 GENIUS ! 4 LEGENDS TILL THE END OF TIME !!!💋♥️
In terms of a single best live performance of a single song by Queen, this is definitely up there. From start to finish, the whole thing is engaging and exciting as hell.
This is a bit off i think. You can watch the non overdubbed version and its still great. Just a few bits added that were obvious anyway like the dreeeeaaaam on one vision. Still sounds good without the over dub. Freddies voice, is a little hoarse but in my opinion its great. I like that he sounds "hard" for it. He went for everything hoarse and all and nailed the whole thing. This is one of his best live performances ever as far as i see it. Yes his vocals have been smoother or tighter but wembley is a proper live performance, gritty and real. Everything went right. Brian nailed soloes that werent always perfect like hammer tf and magic and freddie fucking killed it.
The greatest showman that ever graced this planet. Even now all these years later he still sends shivers down my spine. Rest in peace Freddie.x
After 40/50 years he still sends shivers down spine...I completely agree...Freddy no one after you...
Also the greatest singer with the best voice and the best musician of all time
Sends shivers down your spine? Body's aching all the time?
Not all show. Freddie was a brilliant musician, pianist, singer, songwriter. Greatest Frontman our dear Freddie was/is 👑👑👑👑

Roger's drumming is simply outstanding from 1970 until 1991.

Don't forget Thin Lizzy live
Grimreaper57 true, i really like in the laps of the gods live wembley
He was the best front man ever. He knew he was front but never said he was a leader he respected his band mates. Equal

Go Johnny Go!!
Iconic, legendary, perfect.
Exactly - this is their best version .
"Go Johnny Go", Freddie's homage to Chuck Berry, lot's of them in their music.
lots of noobs believe its addressed to John Deacon....lol
A master class in playing live music. Real musicians. There will never be a better band than these guys 👍
You said it Willie!

Teddy Snyder hahahaha very curious eye! :)
Pumping vocals 💪💪💪💪💪💪💪
He used his whole body when he sang -
But it is really so. The sleeve mooves becouse of his voice and breath
great power in his incredible voice and body haha what note he hits?
