Perfectly said tactics of the left
That is literally all they have going for them is emotional manipulative rhetoric. They barely know what they are talking about. Much less any real world things

You don't want too force them into something they don't desire, that's slavery.

Yeah it’s called attacking a straw man. Common tactic to save face when you’ve clearly lost the argument.
This means people want to press JP into a certain box of a person? Like I already knew society was judgemental but I really wouldn't want to engage in a discussion with a person who has or wants to have a certain picture about me and wants to prove it to themselves even when it's not true. I would argue that the pool of women engineers is more qualified than the men since they have to work so much harder than the men to even get a seat at the table. And even when they do get a seat at the table they get fucked anyway since they are less likely to get paid the same as men and get promoted.
JP: "The sky is blue"
Her: "So you're saying Hitler was right?"
Yes
I mean he kinda? Was, Hitler feared the position of power that the zionists would ultimately go on to have, but his method of delaying the inevitatable (or so to speak) was messed up. But what's more is that Hitler didn't actually kill the reportedly six million Jews, his army did. He convinced other people to do it for him, making him no different than let's say the government. He might personally have killed a few of them, I don't know for sure, but if you were to compare it to the amounts of wars that the government had initiated, then it's but a drop in the ocean in comparison. Not to mention that WWIII is also currently looking to be a thing, and apparently the government of course had something to do with that, too.

The major difference you forget is that without Hitler, we don’t get Nazi Germany as it was.
Just because you don’t physically do the killing doesn’t make your crimes lessor. More than this, we should judge exterminating a race far more malicious and evil than being a part of a war.

@@sanniranhis logic makes absolutely sense ,he is saying that they would be less qualified women engineers if they force the 50% gender hire in engineers simple because there are enough women engineers out there so the quality would decrease automatically,so he is not saying anything wrong ,he is saying something that is common sense .
@@sanniran so if there are 90 men and 10 women or in top 10 there are only 9 men and 1 women but then if we hire 50 50 then in top 10 will enter 5 women 5 men even tho 4 other men were more qualified

😂 he always get’s these “so you’re saying…” replies. He never said don’t even try. He’s saying what is proposed isn’t logical.
So your saying they seek him out 😄
@Despize Perform You are not understanding his point. His point is that if you hire 50/50 you will be hiring less qualified people and your quality of work (in this case of engineers) will go down. This is what happens when there is “equality of outcome” and you don’t let equality of opportunity play out.
@Despize Perform Also implied speech isn’t speech… it’s just your interpretation… which in this case is incorrect. Again he never said to not to try and hire 50/50. He’s saying forcing it in every situation won’t bring what a lot people think. It will have worse outcomes in most cases.
@Despize Perform Huh? You are making absolutely no sense now. Re think and rewrite that response. Reformulate it to an actual question or try backing up your original statement. Or are you just trying to say “hey I was wrong” without actually saying you were wrong.
@Despize Perform I think what he’s trying to say is that if you hire the most qualified people and get to 50/50 then great. But trying (or forcing) to get to 50/50 just because that’s what’s considered “equality” would put a lot of people out of business and then there’s no hiring, no job for the people who just got hired. If a company can hire 50/50 or 75% one way or another or 100% one way or another then it’s them (hopefully) doing that because they want the most qualified people in their business.
“So you’re saying I’m a terrible listener”

She'd fit well with the USSR, who just threw the new guy a welder and to get on the job without any training whatsoever. Giving no damn about the quality.
Let me tell you, that didn't bode well for the T-34 during WW2. Only 7% of them were ever built to high quality, corners were cut to meet demand and by extension performance suffered; and the German's we're destroying 5 Soviet tanks for every 3 they lost.
Quantity does not, and never had a Quality of its own. Especially when your high death tolls (Cause Russian Tank Aces are very Rare) and shitty logistics can't even keep up with the large production of a low quality T-34 made on the cheap than a satisfactory quality one would have actually cost (which would have been the same as the Sherman).

Wtf lmfao what is wrong with this phrase that is just an attempt to interpret what someone just said

I know an electrical contractor who was a union shop. The Union graduated minority apprentices according to diversity quotas. Because the quota was more important than proficiency, several minority students who were unqualified were graduated, then sent to union shops to work. Those unqualified apprentices were quickly let go. Because of the frequency of unqualified minority apprentices, it created a bias among local union shops. It became a local bias that minorities aren’t good electricians.

@Jose Hernandez while I would say that JP clearly doesn't hate women but many of his fans appear to, likely because they are reactionary, right-wing incels looking for a father figure.
@@gareth2736 Imagine actually trying to argue using phrases like "incels" or "looking for father figures"... were you trying to make a point or something?
@@warbwashington5626 yes
@@warbwashington5626 JP himself has said that is why his rules of life has struck a chord with some young men.
"So you're saying don't even try?"
"No, just you."
It's arithmetically impossible.
Engineering tends to involve a more evolved math: such as variables including learning curves and a growing candidate pool.
He's saying hire based on qualifications not sex race sexuality or anything else it will always hurt the company
"so you're saying" is the international que of someone who is going to twist your words.
"So what you're trying to say"
Is the best way to twist what someone is saying and their intentions
Same as the Cathy Newman interview, lol
His assumption is that the only thing that matter to business performance is 'qualification'. That's too far from reality. Personal traces, willingness to grow and to give to others, attention to companies needs, attention and communication with clients, and plenty of other factors influence results. And even if in the short term there were some loss to performance, as a business owner I'd rather try (and I am trying) to have as much variety of human beings as possible.
It's hilarious how they think they can match with JP😂😂
“Engineering school should be more accessible to women!”
Engineering schools: “Agreed. We’re kind of short on students. Any women who want to study engineering at our university?”
Women:
Exactly. Not trying to discount the women who are great engineers. Also not trying to force a certain demographic into becoming what they don't want to be.
Pretty much all the technical stuff is full of "we support women" with even scholarships just for them. But the more equal the society, the less women pursue a tech study... they all go into medicine teacher sociology psychology kind of jobs.
But this is due to the socialization of what we expect from men and women. Maybe if we didnt have such hard gender roles then people would be choosing different careers
they rather dance on tiktok and get famous nowadays
Women: "yes."
Men - "You're too pretty to be an engineer."
I, and thousands of other women have been run out of engineering because men think like this dumbo, Peterson. He makes zero sense. An engineer is an engineer, whether or not they are a woman or a man. If they ARE engineers, then ALL of them qualified because they are engineers. They aren't hiring people who aren't engineers. They are hiring engineers which means they have to be qualified.
His "logic" is non-existent. He is crazy.
Jordan "good morning" this lady "so you're saying goodbye" 😂
😂
The Hobbit first scene comes to my mind
JP: "good morning"
Interviewer: "so you're saying afternoons aren't good?"
Every. God. Damn. Fuxking. Time.
Just hire the best for the job. No matter the sex
He's saying 'hire the best'.
The math JP is describing: you want 20 engineers and get 40 applicants, 30 of which are one gender and 10 are the other gender. To achieve 50:50 ratio you would have to employ every applicant of the latter gender and only the best of the former. This would mean that you would likely employ less-skilled engineers because your selection method didn’t account for aptitude.
I left the genders unnamed above because it would be true regardless of the vocation or gender. If you’re choosing to 50:50 split on gender and get fewer men applying, you’d have to employ all the male applicants even if they were less qualified than the women.
They are doing this right in the American special forces
Well you would then have to force consistency and at the expense of the company or profits and even more take any profession like engineering well a hair dresser would need the same standards but forcing men
Yep this is exactly what they’ve been doing in LA county sheriffs dept. 88% men, 12% women in workforce.
50 jobs come up for sergeant and 150 men and 18 women apply - all 18 women will get hired no matter what their qualifications are. The men, only the top 25 get selected. Yes they will leave the other spots vacant until next round. When in reality it should be 6 women hired (12%) and rest men.
Avg age male Sgt - 45 yrs old with 20 yrs on
Avg female Sgt - 32, with 6 yrs experience
I love Jordan’s alternative take “so we need to hire 50/50 for plumbers to then, yeah. Waste management. Landscape. Construction. Where’s the equal hiring there?”
Good point! Another hole in his theory!
Man I trust the male fire fighters
Go ahead if you can
