RULES FOR YarnWithHeart DRAWS:
• In June, this channel reached a milestone. Over 300 subscribers!! Throughout July, you can enter for a chance to win some yarn-y goodies.
• And on July 25th, I will spin the wheel, to pick 2 winners. (The prizes are 2 small boxes/bags of yarn)…
• During my 11 videos, each of you can have chances to enter your names on two Wheels of Names, if you would like… One of the wheels is a wooly gift and one wheel of names is a non-wool one. (The non-wool one could have some traces of wool, as there is wool in the house.)
• Feel free to use both secret words, if you would like a chance at each prize…
• Watch my videos each day to see how to enter your name, as the secret words will be different on each video. As soon as I see your comment with the secret word, I will add your name and the date on the wheel.
• All items in the prizes have been purchased by me.
• I will pay shipping anywhere in the world to get the item to the winner
• The winner will be responsible for any duty, taxes or extra charges beyond that.
• The draw is open to anyone age 18 or older.
• You Tube has nothing to do with this give away.
*** As of July 5th, I am making a slight change (to information given during July 3rd video). You can use both secret words in one comment, if you would like to be entered in both draws. Or you can use one secret word in that comment, if you want to be entered in only one draw. I am still new to having draws, and thought that asking for 2 comments would be necessary for me to keep track of it all…
*** Note that you can do either one or two comments as long as I see you use secret words on each video, I will know which wheel of names to add you to… I hope that is ok with everyone and very sorry for changing things up like that. Just trying to make things easier on all of you….

My husband and I got married 12 days before Christmas and we had bells as we walked out of our reception!
Stockings are one of my favourite things about Christmas. I love shopping for them, and I love seeing what Santa puts in mine.😊
When I taught Kindergarten, the children loved to ring bells when we sang Christmas carols. Bells sound so lovely.
I smile when I think of Kindergarten children ringing bells. That brings back wonderful memories!
I would love to crochet a Christmas stocking one day - now there's a thought! Listening to the sound of church bells is always lovely wherever one is in the world.
I also would love to crochet a stocking. (This has been on my list to try & I haven't made one yet... I did crochet some toddler sized socks once, but that doesn't count. LOL)
I love the sound of bell s as a musical instrument, using a stocking to hide gifts is a nice thing too.
I also love bells as a musical instrument. (I can play hand bells, and was part of a hand bell choir.)
It is always nice to get a Christmas gift wrapped in beautiful ribbon with a bell attached. I need to start knitting a Christmas stocking or two.
That is a beautiful way to wrap a gift. (My gift shaking habit, to see what might be inside would be discovered by the sound of bells ringing... an added benefit LOL)
The bells of the holiday season are so lovely to hear. So happy that Diana has shared your channel. I have enjoyed watching 😊
Hi Lisa! I'm very happy that you're here and that Diane has let you know about me! :-)
Bell and stocking....loved the blue and white baby beanie. Thank you for sharing.
I am so happy that you liked the baby beanie! My colour changes still need some practice... but it was such a nice pattern I really did want to try it.
Hello and thank you for another beautiful podcast.
Thanks for generous gift and new ideas for xmas ❤
Hello! I really do appreciate your comment. Videos every-other-day is new to me, and hearing that you are enjoying this really does help.
When my husband and I were dating I knitted us each a stocking shaped like giant mittens. We still hang them every year. We also have an ornament that is the bell from Polar Express, the first gift of Christmas 😊 I think the hat and scarf match.
Thank you for saying that the hat & scarf look good together. I didn't have enough to do both in the variegated yarn, but thought a teen/young person might really like it. Love the idea of giant mittens!
I still have the stocking my mother knit for me when I was a toddler. When she knit my hubby a stocking, she added a bell to both of them.
That is lovely and so nice that you each have stockings from your mother! What a treasure!
Church bells are ringing. This is so much fun😊
I am very happy that you are having fun. It has been fun for me too. :-)
Hello! My Christmas stocking has a bell at the bottom and was knitted by my great grandmother! Love the RetroStripes yarn!! Any child would love a blanket made with it!
Love the baby hat! The adult hat set is really nice as well!!
Hi Alanna! Thank you so much for sharing about your stocking made by your great grandmother. What a treasure!
Diane has spoiled me with such lovely yarn to use for donations! I'm so very grateful!
When I was growing up my aunt made me a stocking with my name on it. Somehow she managed to put tiny bells all around my name
This was one of the look and don’t touch decorations that were displayed
As you mentioned it, I thought of my childhood stocking (also a fancy, display one)....
The trend, when my boys were young was for very plain ones.
Luv your makes & videos.
Thank You to a Generous GranieAnieCreates for passing her prize forward.
Your diamond art bell and stocking are cute ornaments to decorate for Christmas. 🤗🧶🎄
Thank you so much for the encouragement, and for recognizing GranieAnieCreates. She is an amazing lady!
Welcome!🤗🧶

Thank you Cathy. I like all the diamond painting ornaments especially the bells.
Thank you so much. It has been a lot of fun to make them...
I've hit the notification bell on your channel so I don't miss any of them! I grew up with a crocheted stocking, that always had a stuffed animal peeking out the top, and an orange in the toe. Great Christmas memories. Thank you. Love the green hat and scarf set - great match!
Oh wow! Each Christmas, my grandma looked forward to getting an orange in the toe of her stocking... So I kept the tradition and always put an orange in the toe of my sons' stockings! This is the first that I know of someone else mentioning an orange in the toe of their stocking. So exciting, Heather!
I love your ornaments, both the bell and the stocking.
Thank you so much. :-)
Thank you for sharing my channel. I'm loving your Christmas 🎄 in July.
You are so welcome! Thank you for sharing your gift forward and your kind heart. :-)
That red heart yarn is so fun! I think you should crochet a bell ornament to go with the snowflake from a while back!
A bell ornament is a great idea! Thank you for the suggestion. :-)
Hi! Such a lovely video today! A few years back I saw a fellow CZcamsr show how she sewes a bell each year on each of her family's Christmas stocking. I liked the idea so much, I started doing it. They're fun to jiggle as the bells accumulate. Thank you!
This is a lovely idea to sew a bell on stockings each year! Thank you so much for sharing your tradition! (And thank you to the fellow You Tuber!)
I knit my first ever Christmas stocking a couple of years ago and have put it away as hope to give to a grandchild in due course. Love the sound of a bell whatever time of year!
I have not made a Christmas stocking as yet. Plenty of patterns, and I would like to knit one some day. (Must admit, turning a heel, and starting a project on DPN's is something that I will need practice at. LOL)
Hi, I like to hear the bell on my Stocking at christmas time.. This is so FUN...Thank you both....
My sons used to put Christmas stockings on and walk around with them... no bells though. LOL
Hi Cathy, I love your bell and stocking diamond painting ornaments ❤
Thank you so much, Lisa. :-)
Growing up in a family of 8, one of my favorite Christmas activities was shopping for stocking stuffers! We didn't have alot of money so Dad would give us like $10 each and take us to Pic 'N Save (the bargain store of our time) one evening. We'd fan out over the store, each trying to hide our baskets from each other as we shopped our lists, so much fun. $10 went a long way in those days. Seems the church bell is also a thing of the past. How cool would it have been to hear church bells ringing every Sunday morning. That was never a part of my childhood but I do love the old movies where they were prominent. Your hats and scarves are so pretty. Who knew a simple double crochet could look so interesting by working in the back loop! I love it.
I smile to know that we had the same kind of shopping trips for Christmas, and the same careful shopping required! It still brings me joy to put together gifts from the Dollar Store or with a few small useful items. Partly tradition, partly nostalgia... some years it was necessity. On years that Jeff was between jobs, I told him that my younger years had prepared me well, and I knew what we could do (pray, draw on my past experience, trust) and that we would be ok. Not to worry as our needs would be met.
There are very few churches that still ring church bells... It really is such a beautiful sound. Maybe someday I can try to catch some video of the one near here when they are ringing...
@@YarnWithHeart 😊❤️ one of the priceless treasures of getting older is the memories we now have of God’s faithfulness, divine protection, provision, that give strength and stronger faith during present trials and challenges!

Put a bell on the stocking to join in Christmas fun!
The Holiday (even in July) really is turning out to be a lot of fun! LOL
I think I will make a Christmas stocking with a bell on it.😊
Someday, when I have grandchildren (if I have grandchildren)... I would like to make one of their Christmas stockings in the shape of an elf stocking with a bell at the toe. And of course a traditional Christmas stocking too.
Very nice hat and scarf. I am sure it will be greatly appreciated
Thank you very much. That BonBon yarn worked up very nicely and I will use it again in hats.
The top knot hat is so so cute.
Thank you so much! It's not super tidy on the inside, because of all the colour changes. But I wanted to try it with the stripes, even though it was going to be a bit of switching colours... (It's another thing for the long list that I need practice at. LOL)
i think it would be cute to cross-stitching a Christmas bell on a Christmas stocking ❤❤
I think so too! Great idea. I still have to learn to cross-stitch... it's on my list.
The bell and the stocking diamond painting are beautiful
Thank you so much Bonnie! :-)
I like the hats that you made and the scarf this year I'm making stockings for my kids for Christmas have a wonderful day
Thank you so much... Breann's hat patterns are very fun to make. When I make a hat for teen/adult, I often include a cowl or scarf to match.
I have a stocking that is decorated with a bell that I use to hang on the coat closet door. Love the paper the yarn is wrapped in. That would also make a pretty top for summer.
I really like the paper that the yarn is wrapped in also. It is such a pretty pattern.
I love stocking , this year I want to make homemade ones for my kids . It’s been a long time thinking about it .❤❤.
Stockings is still on my list of things to try too! (I have made one toddler size pair of crochet children's socks, but they are so small, I don't think it counts LOL)
Your Diamond Art bell is so pretty! I love watching gifts being opened - I hope you and Diane get to meet in person some time soon!
I hope we get to meet someday too! Thank you so much Sandi. :-)
Watching Christmas movies this month.
Great idea! Christmas music and Christmas movies are always fun.
I made crochet stockings for my kids and my nephews when they were young and they are used every year even now that they are young adults and teenagers. Bell 😅
What a nice tradition. I'm sure they love that you made them & look forward to using them every year.
Your bell diamond art ornament is lovely!
Thank you! 😊The diamond art has been a lot of fun.
Hi Cathy. I don’t have a bell on my stocking but we still hang my Grams and she had a handful of bells in the bottom that are still there. She’s been gone for over 20 years but it still goes up. We have an Angel tree that she still leaves a gift for each of my kids and their kids under. Sounds goofy but one of my kids has a separate tree, their angel tree now too so they must have liked the idea. When my firstborn tells me I bought too much I tell him take it up with my Gram. 😂
Oh my... This makes my heart melt. What a wonderful tradition!
Hello Cathy. Your diamond art bell and stocking are so pretty. I enjoy doing diamond paintings, but I've run out of places to display them. Your crochet items are so nice.
If you find small-ish sized diamond art ideas, please let me know. In the apartment, we have very little wall space left, and I will quickly have the same situation as you.... Maybe we can share ideas for "not a picture" diamond art?
We have not used bells to decorate in a few years now. Our cats will play with them. We have knitted stockings. We have donated some rabbit food and bedding to animal services, I belive they also do a pet food bank.
When I was young, we had rabbits for many years. Of the many animals that we had, the rabbits were my favorites.
Your bell diamond painting is so cute. I hope you’re enjoying it.
I really am enjoying it very much.... maybe even more than I thought I would. LOL It really is fun! Thank you so much for the tips that you shared with me. :-)
I just bought some jingle bells to decorate my stocking! I really like the hats, I’m going to check out crochet for a cause.
Thank you for checking it out. This is the third year for the event, and lots of nice patterns to choose from.

That's such a cute card. What a sweet gesture. Having a full belly is such a blessing. Very sweet of granny Annie to pay it forward. I like the bell and stocking diamond painting minis. Are you enjoying the diamond painting? I've never tried it before, but it's so popular. The retro stripe is such a neat summery color. The baby beanie is so cute. That's a great tip for finding inspiration, thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much Sarah! About the diamond painting, I am enjoying it immensely. My eyesight isn't the best, yet this is a craft that I can do. And it is really nice to have found something that I can work on when my knitting/crochet muscles need a break.
I have knit both bell and stocking ornaments.
You have great knitting skills! I am an advanced beginner at knitting, and might be able to crochet these, but knitting them -- not quite yet. Maybe by next year I would be ready to take them on. :-)
Hello Cathy. This is my first time finding your channel so please ring the bell and put it in my stocking 🧦
Hi Jennifer! Very warm welcome! I'm happy that you found the channel. Hope Santa brings you lots of good things in your stocking this year. :-)
It was nice seeing your new projects and hearing about the magazine idea. I'm cross stitching a small Christmas stocking this year but there are no bells on it.
Thank you so much! It makes me smile when I realize that I almost forgot to talk about the magazines... (I get so flustered during videos, and sometimes a bit scatter brained. Real life, real me... LOL)
I hear bells ringing when I see you opening your gifts from Diane. Do you crochet stocking?
Thank you for asking... So far, I have not crocheted a stocking. (I have crocheted one pair of socks for a toddler, but they are very small, too small to count as a stocking LOL)
