Television in the 1970s: Commercials & Events (Clairol Kindness 20)

Hello to August 2021.
We embark on our look back at the 1970's television experience this summer by looking back at events and the commercials that attempted to reflect the ever changing times. This month, we'll focus on the ever changing dynamic between men and woman... or women and men.
Clairol was an important sponsor and advertiser on television during the 1960s and 1970s. Their 'Kindness 20' struck a chord with us as we watched it... a couple of different vibes of women trying to look just right for the men in their lives, and maybe a sense of sadness at not only the state of their lives without the 'Kindness 20', but also perhaps, the state of their lives with it.
