I love how Carrie plays Eponine as a strong character. Most Eponines play it as if "oh I love him and he doesn't love me and I'm so sad about it" whereas Carrie plays it as if he should love her, she's been there all along for him and he's an idiot and she's had enough of it! So refreshing :D
TBH Carrie's version of Eponine reminds me of the book eponine
because book Eponine is a strong independent tough young girl who was always there for others but they were never there for her xx

A lot of people are saying the Carrie's Eponine is too angry, but I think it's really important to note that we're watching a very close-up recording of something that's meant to be seen on stage. Her movements and expressions are huge, as they should be when she's performing to a theater of 1000.
Ruth Kendrick I know this comment is old, but I can't help mention that Eponine is actually very rough in the book. Her portrayal is more true to the book.

I'm pretty sure the final part of One Day More when all the cast sing in unison is the kind of music that will be playing in heaven when I die. This sounds so majestic I can't stop my eyes from tearing up every time

carrie fletcher's acting is such a different feel from the other general eponines, that combined with her singing makes her one of my favorite eponines just from this clip alone

The range of emotions that Carrie showed in On My Own was astounding!
I went to see this cast live a few nights ago! It was without a doubt, the best cast - and performance I have ever seen and I have watched the show countless times! They were perfect! I was sobbing for almost the entire second half. AND CARRIE - what can I say, she was outstanding. AMAZING - she has become my favourite Eponine. I have seen many Eponine's and not one has ever had such an impact on me to the point of tears, but Carrie moved me so much. Plus I met her at the stage door and she was SO NICE and humble :)
10th anniversary concert was the best cast
Wow, that is by far the best performance of 'On My Own' I have ever seen. Carrie always has been brilliant, but this was outstanding. All that emotion she put into it - so raw. It made me start blubbering! Brilliant performances by all. And so proud of our Aussie Daniel Koek!

I love Carrie as Eponine, I can't even imagine someone else being eponine. Carrie plays her as a strong, independent girl, who deserves marius' love. She grew up in the thenandier's home, with cruel parents who didn't treat her the ways he deserved to be treated. I prefer Carrie as Eponine, no offense to sam, she's AMAZING too. but I just thing that carrie plays it better

i cried for three reasons:
1. i love carrie ao much
2. her talent is so grandious it made me fall apart
3. she gives me hope that one day i might play that part, even though im a light lyric soprano.

Carrie is giving a great interpretation of Eponine....very watchable and different than most. Impressive.
I'm a flag girl in my high schools marching band and I always do the thing with the flag in the back and I feel cool for a min then I realize no one knows what I'm referencing so I just sit in the corner and mumble about how uncultured our youth is.

This cast will always have a special place in my heart. They are the best!! So excited to be seeing most of them in August and maybe meeting one member in the kids club. Hope Carries still there by then!

Carrie is easily the best to play Eponine I have ever seen and heard. I seen the show over 50 times and listened to others who have played the role here on CZcams and she is in one word AMAZING.

This was more of an outdoor concert style like west end live so it was okay to talk unlike a theatre
I get it, but my point is, if you just want to talk to your bestie, why not just stay home and do that? That's my take on it. I would be pissed if I could hardly hear the show because a couple of wind bags wont shut up.

this is one of the most beautiful songs from a musical, it's not soft nor quiet, but the sense of determination and passion in the characters' eyes sends shivers down my spine and draws a tear to my eye
This song brings tears to my eyes and then makes me want to stand and cheer and join in the finale!
I recently saw the new 2014-15 cast on a trip to london, and they were all absolutely brilliant, but I must say I wish I had seen this cast as well! Tam Mutu is //so// talented, the same goes for Miss Fletcher! And the rest of the cast are so brilliant. By far the best production of Les Mis I have ever seen

I dont have a T.V at uni so glad this happened to be on whilst I was back home for easter or I wouldn't have seen it! Carrie is so expressionate and of course her voice is amazing and so powerful. Eponine is my fave character, but the whole performance is just wow

I give a Les Miserables themed retreat every year during Lent. I've been doing it for 4 years now, and was even checking out this video to see if I could add it to the roster of videos I show for the next retreat I give. Either way, you'd think that at this point, I'd be getting tired of this show and music...and there are days where I probably am...but I still get goosebumps at good performances like this one. Well done folks!

I know Tam had a bit of an issue on "till theeeen" but I saw him last week and that didn't happen, he was utterly astounding! As for Carrie, she was absolutely stunning and amazing :) The whole cast, omg, AMAZING!!!

Nice to see Adam Linstead as Thénardier here. Not much material of him in the role out there so what we have here is pretty cool. And I can’t forget Wendy Ferguson as Madame Thénardier here, absolutely one of my favourites.
