Every video you post like this, showing the behind-the-scenes of Les Mis makes me so happy. It's been years since I've been on a stage and I miss it beyond belief. This way, I can live vicariously through you and reminisce on the whole experience. :)

Les Mis is such a fun show to do because of it's collaborative set up. I loved the busy feeling of it. Mastering the art of the quick change and not having a moment to really dawdle. I say it every time, but thank you for sharing your backstage experience. Also, the confiscation of the air guitar had me laughing so hard.

This has given me a lot of insight on the life of an actress. I really want to be doing this sort of thing when I'm older, so it's nice to see the sort of thing that goes on behind the scenes.

Oh! I do so appreciate when actors and actresses apply their own makeup. It makes everyone's job a tad bit easier. {I was on lights and sound and it was a large group of people and I had to do a quick tech run, fix makeup, run through my lineup and then get ready for the show XD}
But you are so lucky to be working with such a wonderful ensemble of people for such a wonderful musical. c:

everytime I watch one of your videos, I'm inspired to have a cup of tea, even if I just had a cup of tea. I am also inspired in a lot of other ways, Carrie you help make some very dark times in my life a bit more bearable, I am inspired and uplifted by everything you say and do, you are a truly incredible person. I am so excited for your book to come out and I will be sure to pick up a copy, I cannot wait to hear more of the thoughts that go on inside that wonderful curly haired head of yours.

I'm surprised that you do all your own makeup though - as I imagined there would be a makeup assistant to do it for you. It shows you really know the character if you do the makeup too!
This was so fascinating! I wish more actors would vlog a show day. I used to work BTS on props and costumes, but only in my city productions ("crowds" of 150 or so) so I'd love to see more videos like this from bigger productions! Thanks for taking the time Carrie
Hey Carrie, I saw you in one of your les mis shows on New Year's Eve and I just wanted to say how utterly incredible you were! I really wanted to meet you at stage door afterwards to tell you how much you inspire me to be a better version of me and how much I loved watching you!! I couldn't though because I had to run for the train as I live in Southampton but I want you to know I love you and your amazing and your performance was the best I have ever seen and I hope you had a lovely new year :D xxxx

I know someone who works in the costume department for les mis and I got to go backstage and see all the costumes and then go on the revolving stage, it was so cool!
I'm so excited because I'm seeing Les Miserables on January 2nd for the first time. I loved the movie so I'm really looking forward to it. I've also been planning a summer trip to London with my boyfriend and we both hope to see you acting on the show. xx

I kept freaking out this whole video because you were talking with your mic taped to your face. When I did theatre we were told never to talk with our mics on because it might get turned on for some reason. So now it's ingrained into my brain.
I can second this! But I'm sure it was un hooked, that's what we do anyway!
Our mics are never taken off once the show starts...even when we're in our dressing rooms and it's impossible to get through the day without talking to the people around you about various things to do with the show. The sound people are amazing at Les Mis and when you're not singing, they turn down/off your mic and in my year and a half of being in the show, there's not been a slip up! xxx
